The old guys sided with Hobby Lobby today in denying Birth Control coverage to its female employees based on the Owners religious views. Intact- is Viagra for the guys. Funny how the Far Right Evangelical owners of Hobby Lobby didn't want to touch that one...

The SCOTUS decision is a damned shame. For all the fussing the Right does about Sharia law becoming the order of the day, this decision just paved the way for employers to force their religious beliefs on their employees.
When they want Christianity to be respected, it's all well and good, but just wait until a religious business owner of another faith wants to force their religious beliefs on them. Then, look out.

Now that birth control is off the table, it'll be getting touched even less....
Up next: Hobby Lobby owners paying illegal immigrant children less than $1 per day for 18 hour workdays to make Christmas ornaments... because that's their religious view.
This is a stupid decision. An employer should not be able to dictate what your health insurance covers. By this logic, a Jehovah's Witness employer could refuse to pay for blood transfusions. Another could claim their religions don't cover cancer treatment, as it goes against God's will. Whether true or not, they gain a competitive advantage, as that would bring down their insurance costs.
If the government thinks everybody should have birth control, the governemnt should provide it. Some time back during the Obamacare debates I reversed my position on all of this. We need a single-payer system. If society wants to accept the idea that everybody is entitled to something, that cost should be borne by everyone, not a few (like employers).

The decision was a HUGE victory for the First Amendment rights granted us under the U.S. Constitution. This decision is NOT about birth control. Geesh.......

If your employees are using contraceptives they are more likely to be at work, instead of using maternity benefits.
What is the problem with contraceptives, i just don't understand anything about this. All I know is, having too many kids leads to poverty and all the bad stuff that goes along with poverty.
