Aussies accuse New Zealanders - farmers in particular - of having far too close relationships with sheep. We reciprocate - but throw in a few kangaroos and koalas for spite. We have learned, as well, to embrace the flaw. Where else in the world can you mix "befriending" and appetite? Kind of like Hannibal with wool. Yes, this is a marvellous place - just don't trust an unfarmed sheep at one hundred paces.

When we win the Powerball lottery maybe. Only travel there online. But it looks nice. Would like to see the geysers and other geological features and study the Maori culture more closely. Also experience the reversal of winter and summer. Of course the mountains made famous in the Rings trilogy.
