Their most valuable is an active elder who is rich and retired now who is also a married brother, and he and his wife are pioneering (or otherwise involved in what they call full-time service) and this childless couple (with no relatives to leave in their will) dragged many people from the territory into the hall to the point of baptism. Further, those people they dragged in are also active and holding positions in the congregation.

Regardless of all that, he is only worth what he is willing to do next.

Because of his money, they will try harder to retain him if he produced "doubts" but they would still drop him like a hot radioactive potatoe if he stirred up trouble with those doubts.

They want to be informed when I die. Perhaps they are hoping I have a change of heart and leave them a bequest. Seriously this is not going to happen.

    Surely you jest?

I am pretty sure the WT values all those with a humble heart and a meek and mild spirit, those that are hungering and thirsting for righteousness.

There's also those with deep pockets and shallow personalities. Those with tickets on themselves. Those that enjoy the moral highground.

Those that are dummer than a box of rocks. Those that will be happy to dedicate hours of time each week attending sales meetings.

    The list goes on.

Yes all are precious in Jehovah's eyes.

Is there a category for "emotionally fragile and easily manipulated" people?

Funny, I fell in to the "Highest Value" category when I left, but no Elder visited me to see what was wrong, suited me of course, until I opened my big fat mouth to a MS I thought I could trust to keep quiet, fat chance.

They then called to see if they could trap me in to saying something that would get me DF'd, asking the loyalty question in three different ways.

Obviously they had pre-judged me as worthless to the W.T by this time. From High Value to No Value in six months.

Good thread bigmac, it helps to be realistic about the Pecking Order in the Borg, so many who are "in" never face up to the stark discriminatory and jugemental way things are run.

Watchtower appointed hounder: "tell me how much you have in the bank and I'll tell you what you are worth".

Your "worth" to the Watchtower is the Present Day Value ("PDV") of the amount it is likely to obtain:

    (1) from your door-to-door disease-spreading activities; plus

    (2) from your assets, including any bequest it can obtain from you.

Not a shekel more, not a shekel less.

Might as well sit in the back with the shunned ones.
