Where are these production quality videos culled from? Are they available on the jw.org site? Would be great for referencing in blogs and letters. Seriously, this isn't the religion I quit barely 15 years ago . .

THE COBE at a cong in my city said last Thursday during the Service Meeting that the JWs have one of the best movie studios on the east coast at Patterson!! My jaw dropped at the arrogance.

This caused a real stir when shown at London last weekend . The sisters I heard of were largely in tears , I know at least two had a recent bereavement and were really upset by it .

No reasoning, no argument to substantiate it, no scriptures , just raw play on emotion. The worst thing? It isn't true ! It is never going to happen, they are selling a lie!

I notice the girl in the video who lived, didn't age at all between the time when her sister/friend died and was resurected. There wouldn't have been as much of an emotional impact if the girl that lived had become an elderly grey haired old woman in the intervening years.

This was all very calculated and it didn't hurt the agenda to play a kingdom song in the background. They wanted everyone viewing this, no matter how old they are, to see themselves as they do in their own mind, as still being young. They wanted to give the impression that the resurrection would happen soon after their loved one dies. A more realistic video would show a widow or a mother who lost a child and grew old spending her life waiting decades for the promised resurrection.

Maybe, or perhaps the resurrection of that person happened far enough into the new system that the first woman had already been de-aged as she moved towards perfection. It would have been a bit dissonant to show an old person living in the new system, no?
