  I probably shouldn't have, but I found myself laughing at the absurdity of this cartoon version of the history of Palestine.

  As a British Jew with Isreali family I think this cartoon over simplifies the issues. Most Isreali's are not even religious Cofty it's all about Politics not just religion. In Jaffa in the 80's I saw non religious Plaestinians and Jews living in peace, but in Jerusalem there was a strict military presence. Tourism and politics cause conflict too, all about the money as well and power, God hardly even factors in the issues really.
