Joe Franklin Rutherford, if only we could go back in time and ask him what Betty and Bonnie were like as "companions". Do you think he had physical relations with either woman and how did they justify it? Were they thinking Jehovah forgave any sins nut-ball Joe did? Did the Watchtower have "Indulgances" for upper rank JWs back in 1910-1980?

Why doesn't the WT use a similar test for pediophilic Elders, make them present their testicles for crushing and Jehovah will ensure justice prevails surely?

The actual question from the 15 April 1984 edition of the Watchtower on page 29 in the article "Respect Jehovah, Urges the Book of Numbers" is:
Q: What actually happened to a wife guilty of adultery? Numbers 5:11-31
A: No affliction was brought on by the water itself. But it was drunk before Jehovah, who knew whether the woman was guilty of adultery. If she was, he would make her belly swell and her thigh fall away. Evidently the thigh is used here euphemistically for the procreative organs. (Compare Genesis 46:26.) 'Fall away' suggests that these organs atrophied, making conception impossible. This would harmonize with the fact that if the woman was innocent her husband was to make her pregnant. That's all folks!

Ultimate Reality
And if she was pregnant as a result of the adultery, would this not cause the unborn child to be aborted? So, abortion is allowed if God is the one performing it. Just like rape (of Mary) is allowed, if God is the one doing it.
