Why do you suppose he is not given the honor due to him by the WBTS?

    THEIR DECSCRIPTION OF JESUS:
He is a creation...not THE creator.
He PROVED faithful when tempted....as though he MIGHT have.
He gave ALL glory to the father.....not himself.
He was kind enough to be WILLING to give his life for us.
The only thing he knows is what the father tells him.

Why would Dubs exalt someone with these descriptions.......and these are the ones they cherry pick.....to any kind of status comparable to Jehovah?

When he is spoken of in the "Kingdom songs" it is generally as "our example".
All one has to do is read the scriptures to see the Honor that SHOULD be given him.

He dosen't MIX to good with the majority of the dubs anyway because 99% of them are of the Great Crowd of which have no Mediatorship with him anyhow. They are not even his BROTHERS.

What a sick perversion of the scriptures!

    Another great post Metatron !

I once remember inviting a few Christian schoolmates over to my house to prove to them that Jesus was just Michael the Archangel.
I only had a couple of scriptures to prove this including John 1:1 which was different in their bible anyway.
My classmate showed me scripture after scripture that I'd never seen before in JW literature to prove me otherwise.

The Witnesses are far too obsessed with the blood thirsty God of the old testament.

JW's are taught that to be Christian means to go knocking on doors. I now think my schoolmates were right - to be Christian simply means to be followers of Christ.

And why not? He's a problem! He offers principles
instead of rules. He condemns hypocrisy. He throws
greedy Pharisees out of the temple. He's the last
thing a stodgy, bureaucratic religion needs - a troublemaker
    and whistleblower!

    http://www.m-w.com/ (THE Merriam Websters Dictionary)

    Main Entry: prin·ci·ple
    Pronunciation: 'prin(t)-s(&-)p&l, -s&-b&l
    Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, modification of Middle French principe, from Latin principium beginning, from princip-, princeps initiator -- more at PRINCE
    Date: 14th century
1 a : a comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption b (1) : a rule or code of conduct (2) : habitual devotion to right principles <a man of principle> c : the laws or facts of nature underlying the working of an artificial device
    2 : a primary source : ORIGIN
3 a : an underlying faculty or endowment <such principles of human nature as greed and curiosity> b : an ingredient (as a chemical) that exhibits or imparts a characteristic quality
4 capitalized, Christian Science : a divine principle : GOD
    - in principle : with respect to fundamentals <prepared to accept the proposition in principle>
usage Although nearly every handbook and many dictionaries warn against confusing principle and principal, many people still do. Principle is only a noun; principal is both adjective and noun. If you are unsure which noun you want, read the definitions in this dictionary.
As to the rest of the things that Jesus did, well he didn't exist so he could not have done them. Jesus is a fabrication. The fundamental question is not, which Christian religion has it right, or is Jesus god and part of a trinity. No the fundamental question is, did he even exist. The answer is no.

Do the JWs still believe, teach that Jesus is Michael ?
This is so strange and twisted.
So, Jesus is the son of God, a man, and an angel, and a god. But he is not God and he is not our mediator...
Where in the Bible do they find all this ?

    Questions to ask "christian" JWs:

Do you pray to Jesus? (answer is no)

Is Jesus your personal Mediator? (answer is no unless they're anointed)

Do you worship Jesus? (answer no)

How do you explain that the bible uses the word "worship" with regard to Jesus? (they will say it says "do obeisance" but a simple cross reference with other scriptures using the greek word for worship will show it should say worship)

If Jehovah is the only true God, and Jesus is a God other than Jehovah, then Jesus must be a false God. QED.

I remember asking that back when I was a dub. They told me that Jehovah is ALmighty whereas Jesus was simply Mighty. Talk about splitting hairs.

    Meta,

Add my name to the list of fans of your contributions. As I've said in earlier posts, to JWs Jesus is little more than a cypher, an Area Code or suffix to their prayers, and the so-called ``Faithful and Discreet Slave'' looms larger in the average JW consciousness than does The Lamb of God.

And just who is this purported FDS? What really galls me is how the writers in Brooklyn/Patterson refer to him/it whatever, in third person when in reality THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES. So when they urge submission to the FDS, it really means, ``Shut up, sit down and follow US, even it it's into oblivion!''

Their exclusion of Christ in JW theology has gotten so bad that one way to raise eyebrows-- and suspicions-- of apostasy at the Kingdom Hall is to include words like ``grace,'' ``redemption'' or ``reconciliation'' in one's ``theocratic vocabulary.
