I enjoyed your post Clarity about the 'sense of urgency' and especially the 'godly sense of urgency' when God has no sense of urgency.

The Governing Body who are being prompted along by other members at headquarters are absolutely nuts and have lost all bible understanding and putting their trust in God.

The picture depicts an elder reading out life saving instructions provided not by God, but by Headquarters. They think that they are now all that important. Yet all they are busy doing at the moment is buying and selling buildings and printing articles telling their flock to obey them.

Going by their track record the letter the elder is reading will be full of instructions that are detrimental and it won't matter one bit becasuse they have their 'get out of jail free' card, they are allowed to make mistakes because they are imperfect. Problem is, the sheepies have to follow those carzy intstructions regardless of whether they make any logical sense to them or not.

It is not even feasable that a person would risk all to get to a basement just to be with an elder who reads out a letter.

If you were to ask the GB what exactly is in that letter they wouldn't be able to tell you but somehow they will know at the necessary time what to write. How will they know? They couldn't tell you that either. How will they know what they have depicted in this picture will actually occur? Of course they don't and here again we see them prophesying.

They are looking into the future and depicting what will occurr. Who needs the bible when we have prophets amongst us.

It just doesn't make sense .First they say " in the end we may receive instructions from the organization that don't make sense from a human point of view but we have to follow them ", implying that a worldwide organization with them as the head will still be functional .

Then they say " stick with your family study, in the end that is all that will remain " ,meaning that all organization including congragations will brake down .

And now this " At that crucial time, Jehovah will give us lifesaving instructions, and the “inner rooms” might well be connected with our local congregations."

Like Jesus said :""they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit." - Mat 15:14

I was told the great tribulation was going to start before 1975? My dad sold his house in 1974 to down size and get ready for the end of the system. A good elder brother bought it off of him and flipped it for a profit. I guess some didn't buy the BS but just used others for their own financial benefit. Is it a wonder why some of us have no use for this cult.

I was happy to finally understand the Watchtower Organisation "simply" as a "Scaremongering Apostate Supremacist Doomsday Cult" but have just been stunned speechless by the JWFacts table on the 1260 days lunacy...

Thank you all the same Paul for your generous efforts, and sacrifices, on behalf of all ex, and all would-be, followers of the corrupt but exceedingly lame and irrelevant Watchtower.

The GB it seems to me are dealing with their fear of irrelevance and exposure by promoting a fear-based siege mentality in their followers too.

Would it be too much to hope that "the end is near" for the Watchtower, and that liberation or "the beginning is near" for its followers?

The organization doesn't have a physical glass bowl that they look into to see what is going to happen in the future but this picture that they have stages is exactly the same thing. This picture is a snapshot of what they believe will happen and what they are doing is more than scaremongering. They are stepping beyong what the bible says and are making their own assumptions and looking into the future and foretelling what it holds.

So, the lesson I got from the whole thing is, protect your ties with your life if you want to have special privileges during the great tribulation. Oh, and you might survive armageddon if you don't wear dresses to the meetings. Maybe-but those women pretty much looked like death would be preferable to going to the meetings.

I believe that HQ at Warwick has extensive underground areas. Also, I thought dubs were just told not to be storing food and other items like doomsday nutters. Money that can go to the GB should not be spent on items like food and emergency supplies. A modest go-bag is all that is needed. Evidently, the GT won't last more than a week.....

DD: "--wont last more than a week: for unless those days were not cut short, no flesh would be saved, but on account of the CHOSEN [anointed] ones these days will be cut short. so:

are there any anointed ones in that picture?

let us put them outside*, so can be raptured, and we can get it over with,

new light: The above text will be fulfilled by having the CHOSEN anointed (not all partaker) captured, then raptured early, quickly. Rev 20:4

similarly to the Jonah and the sailors story.
