I often download open yale courses audio for my mp3 player. I work repatative in the morning so get 3-4 hours of courses,

One done today on the Philosephy of Death made a point.

If you lived 300 years you might might still remember childhood.

500 year childhood might be gone and by then you are NOT the SAME person you were at 50. In fat you might not even rmembe you were that person!

1000 year the guy or girl you are is NOTHING like the person you were at 30-40-50 etc. By that time you are a renewed person many times over and likely have no memmory of your youth.

Jesus 1000 year reign is not where I want to be and the paradise after is far worse. We are better to die in the JW World

I'd love to live forever, but either as spirit or if human then with star trek technology and infinite other planets to live in and explore. This planet is small after you have traveled all over.

O and another response to OP's post, so do you wish you were dead right now? Are you upset that the person you were when you were 3 years old, 6 years old, 10, 15, 20, etc, are all long gone?

We also only use a fraction of our brain, there is a man who has remembered EVERY day of his life and if given any day he can tell you what occured that day. (forgot the name but I'm sure google can find it quickly if you are interested).

Either way though, the JW version of 'the last days' and 'the end' is not what the scriptures teach, they have tons of things all mixed up.

Data I'm not denying cybernectic could grant a form of imortality but even if memory tranfers is true and we have hot female robots lol....

Eventually you WILL forget who you are and become a new person in less then 1000 years

JW's will tell you that the if the above is true, it is because of Adameic sin and imperfection. In the new system, when we're perfect, memory won't be a problem.

So telemere at the end of our DNA will be prfect... if that true in 10-00 generations we will have genectic problems////

Well, since no human has ever lived that long and no scientists have lived alongside said person to study the effects..... It's conjecture that we would not remember who we were 100 or 200 years ago. There is no way to PROVE that we would forget our past self. Then again, maybe that's why scrapbooking was invented.

Yeah I disagree but also don't care because we live for 70 - 90 years. There is no forever, enjoy NOW. Live your only life fully.
