  The JWs are responsible for more deaths than heaven's gate, due to the blood ban, and past organ transplant bans, vaccine bans, etc.

  Just because there's no cult coumpound and the suicides (by refusal of medical treatment) don't all happen at once doesn't make them less of a dangerous cult. The JWs may not be isolated by the physical walls of a cult compound, but they're still isolated from the world they live in. The suicides may have a passing resemblance to a legitimate religious objection to certain medical treatments, but upon further inspection they are nothing more than ritual suicide forced on cult members by the leaders.

  If you asked people in the western world to name three cults in operation today, they would probably name Jehovah's Witnesses as one of them, maybe alongside the K.K.K. and the Freemasons. That's what firstly comes to my mind when I think of cults.

  Watchtower is definitely a dangerous mind control cult.
  I don't have statistics, but taking my own internet journey revealed to me that former (and current) JW's have way more websites/facebook pages and spend way more time supporting each other on the internet than other English-speaking groups such as the Mormons or other cults.

  WTS severely got us pissed off or messed in the head and is worse about breaking up families.

  I know that the Mormons have more bizarre doctrine and certainly your Heaven's Gate types are WAAAAAAY OUT THERE!!!!!!

  I actually think that makes WTS a bit more dangerous- it's CULT LITE in comparison. People in a sex cult or leader worship cult or waiting for the spaceship tend to snap out of it some day. CULT LITE is more tolerable and many Witnesses never even come close to snapping out of it.

  The GB is just as much part of the enemy as the writing dept. and other entities near the seat of power. It is only the members that are not the real enemy, but even there- watch your back as they are trained to turn in their own loved ones and shun them forever.

  Any organization that forbids its members taking life saving medical treatments is a cult.

  It seemed to me that HTBWC was referring to cults like Heaven's Gate (which he mentioned) -- cults that end with a mass suicide -- and asking if the JWs will end that way. However, his post is difficult to read and decode so I could be wrong.
