Warned about Internet use again!

So...the km for May has an outline re internet use. Once again we are admonished to stay away as some sites are deceptive in that they say they promote jw's...but be aware!! They actually slander...slander the witnesses.

I can only assume they mean this board and the silentlambs site first and foremost - so if the elders weren't aware of these sites...they are now...the rest of us (barr me) are sitting there enthralled...

I couldn't help but feel the bile rise just a little....

But I know where they are coming from - this site can very much put doubt in your mind re your faith and make you THINK....

Thanx for helping me THINK...it's helped me to analyze my situation and the world around me.

Oh btw: now they are discouraging us from getting to know our fellow brothers and sisters worldwide...as we can neva be too sure who's who. We should be content to know our local brothers and sisters and spend time with them, encouraging one another. Hmm....doesn't sound like international brotherhood to me. And what if your local hall doesn't want to associate with you until you're clean and have dedicated yourself to Jehovah publicly? Where's the loving assocation for them.

The WT leaders are running scared. Really scared.

All their warnings about the internet only fed my curiosity. I wondered what was out there that could be so damning, after all, I was in the truth, right? How could the truth be refuted by a lie? I found out who the liars are.

That's an old one, Violet. Back when I was still in, there were similar "restrictions". I remember statements made to the effect that we should only attend conventions that our congregation was actually assigned to, your own circuit and district. In our congregation, one elder said in a talk that we should only go to work on quick-build KH's in our own circuit. (That was actually directed at my family personally, since we had gone to a couple of projects outside our "circuit")

So that means that in the New System, the Witnesses won't be travelling and seeing the Paradise as much as they thought!

It all reafirms one thing,how can they pass judgementon these sites are about unless they are actually visiting them,as the Watchtower Research site has shown,they make regular visits.

Another case of do as we say not as we do.
