They approved of kidnap, rape, slavery and infanticide. They had the morals of an Afghan Warlord and even less knowledge about science.

Personally I have found the central message (or theme) of scripture to be the legal custody battle, over us the children, fought by means of controlling religion versus the liberating gospel message of grace.

I like the grace argument but HOW DOES THE BIBLE DIFFER WITH ANY OTHER RELIGIOUS BOOK! They are all long living and popular........ even the Mormon garbage. It's about what was written and about the idiots who believe it.

I like the idea of Grace too. But then I begin to wonder why some receive Grace and why some Don't qualify.
do not see grace as I do not see grace as a central theme of the Bible. It's a late addition.

I cannot see a theme in the bible but others have shoehorned one in to make money and get power.
