There's an interest point raised by Stephen Letts at around the 7 minute mark of the intro video;

much of the equipment used to build the studio was made available by donation
he twice mentions (once at the start of the video) the need for "support", which we can assume means donations

Then he states that "many will be wondering why we're building this studio in Brooklyn when, in two years time - Jehovah willing, we'll be moving to Wallkill.

This belies that fact that the GB has no doubt that "Armageddon" isn't coming any day soon.

At the start of the video, and throughout the first 7 minutes, they bang on about it was made clear to them by Jehovah that this new video project had his blessing.

Therefore Jehovah can't be planning to launch Armageddon within the next 2 years, can he?

Anyway, I think right away we've got to the route of the purpose for this TV channel; donatations. But as has already been pointed out in other threads, the GB will slip up, just as Lett has done in the intro video, letting the R&F know that the end isn't quite as near as is promised...

I loved the bit where he says that the Watchtower had asked a TV Production specialist how long it would take to create a setup like the one the Watchtower has pulled off. The answer was one and a half years, but the Organisation managed to do in just two months! Then he says that it's due to Jehovah that they managed to pull it off in record time....

Now hold on a second. If the guy that apparently created the universe can deliver everything we see before us in just 7 days, why did it take him two months to create the Watchtower TV set?

Yes, I'd really like to hear from somebody in the industry how long it would take to set up a TV news studio from scratch with unlimited free labor around the clock.

How exactly does he do that? I'd love to hear a more detailed explanation from them.

Do they hear voices?

Do they have a Jehovah Ouija Board that he uses to spell out his purpose?

Is the more likely explanation that they trot out these phrases as a way of saying "don't question us"

They are claiming to speak for god and that god clearly communicates to them. Surely they should be sharing the wonder with the world.

I understand your point. The R&F are just too blinded by visions of pandas to see that they are being duped by professional swindlers.

A year and half to build? NO WAY.

That set was built in 3-4 months.

I work for a local tv station that launched last August. The facility i work in was built in about 3 months.

Yes they built it in 2 months, BECASUE THAT'S HOW LONG IT SHOULD TAKE.

My guess? It is now 100 years since the "birth of the kingdom" . Everybody's expectations have been shot down in flames. They need a big announcement, a distraction to excite the faithful and make them feel that things are happening......
