If you noticed in the first broadcast that there was a table with charis around it on the set .
What most likely will happen is that they will shoot sequences like you see in Kingdom Halls where female
speakers are portraying how to talk or preach like they were conducting a home bible study.
and no they will not start having woman giving public talks on their own, just like what you see in Kingdom halls.
.
Woman in the JW organization are deemed second class chattel in this particular Christian organization.
Misogamy is prevalent throughout, they aren't even allowed to hold microphones as far as I remember.
But there useful and advantageous in training them to distribute publicly the WTS. publications and literature.

According to sociologist Allan G. Johnson, "misogyny is a cultural attitude of hatred for females because they are female." Johnson argues that:
Misogyny .... is a central part of sexist prejudice and ideology and, as such, is an important basis for the oppression of females in male-dominated societies. Misogyny is manifested in many different ways, from jokes to pornography to violence to the self-contempt women may be taught to feel toward their own bodies. [ 4 ]
Sociologist Michael Flood, at the University of Wollongong, defines misogyny as the hatred of women, and notes:
Though most common in men, misogyny also exists in and is practiced by women against other women or even themselves. Misogyny functions as an ideology or belief system that has accompanied patriarchal, or male-dominated societies for thousands of years and continues to place women in subordinate positions with limited access to power and decision making. [...] Aristotle contended that women exist as natural deformities or imperfect males [...] Ever since, women in Western cultures have internalised their role as societal scapegoats, influenced in the twenty-first century by multimedia objectification of women with its culturally sanctioned self-loathing and fixations on plastic surgery, anorexia and bulimia.

If sisters do get tv time, I look forward to seeing them wearing their best tea towels on their heads as they show submission to the greatness in the room.
Oh, wrong show, my bad.

They can only appear on the tv station if they put a shawl or at least a napkin on their heads!

Let's not forget that tv.jw.org is ALL about the Governing Body. Yes, there will be streams from talks etc, all presented by "brothers". But the main showpiece broadcast will be presented by a Governing Body member. This is about their position in the minds of the R&F and about harnessing the long-forgotten cult-of-personality last seen in the JF Rutherford days.

Hey JW007,
I stumbled upon this on youtube. It is a woman named Brooklynn and the show is "On the Scene". She does over an hour interview for the International Convention. I am not sure if this as made by jw.org. It seems to be of the same quality. Let me know what you think...or if anyone else knows more about this, please let me know...4thgen
