'It doesn't matter, we don't serve for a date.'
When a JW does this, it's called "turning the tables".
They've just ignored the discussion of "dates" and changed the subject in an accusatory way, saying "YOU serve for a DATE -- YOU serve for a WRONG REASON".
THE QUESTION IS: WHO FIRST BROUGHT UP A DATE?
THE F&DS IS WHO BROUGHT UP THE DATE(s)!
WHO SAID 1975 WAS THE DATE?
Did 2.5 million JWs all pull 1975 from their ass?
HELL NO! THE F&DS SLAVE PUBLISHED IT IN THEIR LITERATURE AND ESPOUSED IT AT CONVENTIONS.
That's where I got the date!
WHO SAID "BY THE END OF THIS 20TH CENTURY"?
THE F&DS PUBLISHED IT IN THEIR LITERATURE! (DIRECT FROM GOD)
That's where I got the date.!
WHO SAID "THIS GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY"? (Before the "overlapping generation")
THE F&DS PUBLISHED IT IN THEIR LITERATURE! (DIRECT FROM GOD)
That's where I got the date!
WHO SAID "WILL THIS BE OUR LAST MEMORIAL"?
THE F&DS PUBLISHED IT IN THEIR LITERATURE! (DIRECT FROM GOD)
QUIT CHANGING THE GODDAMN SUBJECT!
I DIDN'T BRING UP A DATE -- THEY DID!

Turning the tables...oh, yeah! I AM 100% WITH YOU (I am shouting too because I am just as frustrated). This is typical of the WBT$. It amazes me how the magical man in the sky keeps getting it wrong. Anyone would think he doesn't exist and that the WBT$ are just after money and power.

Because it's proof of a false prophecy. The generation did pass away.
And then there's the evidence of what they taught before the "generation will not pass away" doctrine: jw.org has an Armageddon countdown card on it. seriously.
