Anthony Morris III delivers judgement on Branch at Annual Meeting

Anthony Morris III publicly aired his differences with a branch? This brings a couple of things to mind.

    1) What happened to the world wide unity that Jehovah's Witnesses are always bragging about? This dispells that whole idea.

    2) I very much agree with Splash. Isn't it possible that some of the branch officials might also be of the anointed, therefore have the same "big brother?" What is Morris claiming, that 'my big brother likes me best?'

The humility of Anthony Morris III is underwhelming, but it reveals the true nature of the Governing Body.

I dare that thing to sic Jesus on anyone. Jesus never did exist, except as a thoughtform intended to enslave all of us. Obviously, that thing is not going to help in this case.

And if this thing is going to sic Satan on the "offending" branch, I would expect Satan to go after the whole organization because they are promoting slavery. Satan is against slavery, and would be happy to see the whole religion, along with all Christi-SCAM-ity, Judaism, and Islam, ruined. All of them promote slavery, and all of them need to go down. Yes, the "bad" branch will be among those destroyed. But Morris will also be ruined itself.

And what knock on effect will all this have on the R&F?

Naff all because most of them won't even hear the A Morris III patronise with his self importance and if they do it'll go over their heads because he's god's chosen mouthpiece.

Hey everyone. I think we might have run away with the idea that fellow JWs at the Branch weren't treating AMIII too well when, actually, it was the Branch territory. He said 'we gotta pray for those men' - not brothers. It sounds like he had some opposition while, say, in Field Service or on his travels as a speaker, whatever, but the mistreatment was more likely by non-JWs.

It's stll obvious why he told the story ('loyally support us, sheeple, or else big Bro. Jesus is gonna get ya') and his smugness made me nauseous. Romans 10:12, anyone?

But according to the OP he made reference to the "brothers."

...well it’s not me they need to worry about, it’s my Big Brother, THAAATS who they better worry about. Yeh, hmm, we had to pray for those brothers over there, (LAUGHS).

He could have meant that they 'prayed for the brothers over there' because they suffered the same thing he did, but that wouldn't be a laughing matter, and he did add the LAUGHS. It comes across as if they were 'praying for the brothers' because they were going to have to face big brother.

    Am I missing something?

I understand your point. Your logic is searching for some way to make sense of this statement of Sir Anthony Morris III.

It is just another example of how most of what these dimwits say leaves reasonable people scratching their heads. He really should take an ESL course.

He had to pray for them because their olfactory senses had not been adjusted enough to fully accept scent of one particular body area.

    Am I missing something?

Yes. It wasn't 'brothers,' it was 'men.' The OP was mistaken. This is the exact quote:

    (3h16m approx.)

"Now. What role do those with an earthly hope play? Ho, oh boy. Very important role. Very important role. His illustration of the sheep and the goats teaches us that those with the earthly hope have the honor of loyally supporting Christ's brothers.

"I remember telling a friend of mine once where I wasn't treated too well in this particular branch territory, and I said to my friend, 'Well, it's not me they need to worry about - it's my big Brother. [Audience laughs] That's who they better worry about.' Yeah, we gotta pray for those men over there. [More audience laughter] So during these last days the two groups that work together as one flock, zealously carrying out the work. ..."

By the way, I missed it too. A lurker brought that detail to my attention

" Big Brother " = Jesus ? Wow. Talk about using " 1984 " lingo. So I guess the GB are Jesus " little brothers " who act on behalf of " Big Brother ". These guys are so twisted it's not funny. The GB considers themselves legends in their own minds. Their egos are as huge as Mount Rushmore. I'm surprised THEIR faces aren't carved on Mt. Rushmore ! Ridiculous
