Thanks truthseeker. Just a semi-silent observer for now. But I knew where the URL was and felt obliged to post it :-)

wifibandit I actually watched that video. Barf! At first I thought it was a joke then realized it was really from their website. The householder had questions, well the answers are here in my handy dandy chart! Well let's hope he doesn't do any research and ask about that pesky 607 date. Notice that wasn't one of the questions they had him ask.😁

I have literally lost count of how often that's happened, by now. :smirk:

No one, especially the householders give a $@it about 1914. This smacks of desperation. The JWs use the word Fact very loosely I might add. They may have FAITH in the date but certainly not facts lol

Uhhhm, aww, thanks buddy! That indeed made me queasy. All those Moonie like fake smiles. They look spacy and delusional, not to mention my pet peeve, all those silly dresses & suits. Very off putting.

You need to be a tool to be able to explain those beliefs

"well we know there's a larger fulfillment of this prophecy."

uh. If you say so. this is how you know you're dealing with an eschatological sect.

better make sure you have a data connection out in service, I guess.

They should have included a disclaimer in that video: The role of "householder" is being performed by a 30+ year bethelite. Actual householders will not waste time with WT cartoon publications and nonsense chronology.

They would be smart to drop the whole 1914 date and generation thing. If they just stopped talking about it most people would eventually forget it was ever a main part of their theology. They did that with 1975, and people quickly forgot they ever expected Armageddon to happen that year. I talked to a JW who was only told that some people believed that, she had no idea it was a main tenet of JW beliefs at that time. Their ridiculous explanations just bring attention to the fact that their previous predictions didn't come true.
