A study in WT talk:. --diregarding lordships-- Jude 8.

"Such spirit has no place in the Christian congregation." that is right: from "your slaves" (Jesus' words) to 'glorious ones', not to be questioned.

" Elders --make mistakes that affect us personally" glorious mistakes? particularly the mistakes made at the highest levels. then, when it happens:

" --inappropriate --demanding justice,--" -- demanding that something to be done about this brother" and wrong attitude, reaction, strategy:

"--have refused to appear before a committee --- assigned ---TO HELP THEM" ??

"This could be likened to a patient---that does not like something about the doctor" yeah, doctor with a zero success rate? or really the judges/executioners.?

a telling explanation of the docile attitude, hubris expected in the congregations.

(Jude 4a) ...certain men have slipped in...

Amazing the ones that have "slipped into" the Bethel and JW systems are the very ones claiming to be the "glorious ones". It is obligatory that this kind of hubris and lie be part of the overall Bethel methodology. It is also understandable that cycles and principles of history have always been repeating for the same purposes, and apostate development in a Christian ministry is pretty common actually.

Bethel's classic apostasy is hidden in plain sight, thus it is sometimes hard to see for what it is: a classic leadership based apostasy.

The 8th grade writing style, total lack of any former JW theological depth, total ignorance of massive global developments and endless plagiarism of modern Bethel writing is indication nothing even trying be holy, but merely trying to appear as such, is what inhabits modern Bethel. They are not even a good act but for the most backward and information starved people which such inanity has aided the development of for now the whole GB tenure.

The GB is the steering wheel those that "slipped in" have taken control of for use as an apostate tyranny. All they have to do is chime the past as it they are old school JWs (which they are not), and claim the opposite, and JWs, trained to focus on the pretty supposed "God's gift to the world" Bethel apostate slick package, fail to comprehend the sealed spiritual turd inside, JWs no longer consider the real contents. (Rev8:10-11)

Though they try to make disfellowshipment appear as brought on those "not conforming to Bible standards" it is actually upon those victimized by a modern Pharisaic legalism that has lost all focus but on "beating the sheep". The others who leave on matter of conscience due to Bethel global actual criminal activity secular and spiritual, are also branded as rebels and malcontents.

Bethel's own lawless record, like the UN NGO and pedophile aiding and abetting is what now stumbles most people, imo. And that stumbling will keep them out of the spiritual disaster zone that Bethel actually is.

" how inappropriate it would be for any member of the congregation to react according to the world’s spirit, vehemently demanding “justice” or that “something be done.."

To any fellow Witnesses reading this, see if the "Glorious Ones" take such a forgiving attitude if you fall short of their standards!! Don't hold your breath!

They'll do a good a good imitation of vultures around a weakened and frail creature.

As long as you play your cards right, you can say whatever you want to Elders. You just have to know how to word things. Don't be "vehemently" demanding about anything, just be calm and collected.

Here is the really sick thing about the GB. They direct the writing of articles about themselves. So they are referring to themselves as "glorious ones", and as the voice of Jehovah! Sound familiar? Who in the Bible made sure that all in the camp knew that they were holy?!?!

    HINT: It wasn't Moses.

Anyone who feels and indeed knows they've been wronged NEEDS to demand and fight for justice. How else will the bad seed be cast away from the leadership?!

When Paul felt wronged, he then appealed to Cesar. We have been encouraged in the past to follow his example.

Demand your rights, this is one of the ways reform will come about. I look forward to when it becomes mandatory for elders to report all abuse to the local authorities rather than just keep it hush to try to save face.

There is no process in the WTS for 'bad actors' to be removed, for mistakes to be rectified or for wrongs to be put right.

The whole message boils down to "quit complaining and do as you are told".

Ye Old WT double standard. So true.

" how inappropriate it would be for any member of the congregation to react according to the world’s spirit, vehemently demanding “justice” or that “something be done.."

By this argument, since "demanding" for justice is "worldy" thinking, WT should quit fighting pedophilia lawsuits and just pay and be done with it.

While I'm posting flip-flops on other threads, here's one about who the glorious ones are.
Seems they struggle to even know themselves.

WHO ARE THE 'GLORIOUS ONES' (2Pe 2:10)?

All anointed - w60 9/1 p. 539 par. 14 Awake Worshipers in the Time of the End
The "glorious ones" here referred to are not any who are bright and shining in their own eyes or who are glorious in the eyes of others due to their personal achievements. Those who are the brothers of the King Jesus Christ have been selected as heirs of the heavenly kingdom—a glorious privilege indeed!

All anointed - w65 10/1 p. 592 par. 7 Execution of Divine Judgment upon the Ungodly
Who are these "glorious ones"? They must be those who receive glory from Jehovah God and his Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. According to Isaiah 60:1, 2, Jehovah's "own glory" would be conferred upon the remnant of spiritual Israel, the anointed Christians.

    Elders - w79 1/15 p. 25 Why Keep Free from Murmuring?
They were individuals who were "disregarding lordship and speaking abusively of glorious ones," or responsible men in the congregation.

    Elders - w80 1/15 p. 19 par. 10 Are You a Loyal Subject of God's Government?
Further describing them, the apostle says: "Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble at glorious ones [persons entrusted with oversight within God's congregation] but speak abusively."

Anointed elders - w82 8/15 p. 28 pars. 14-15 Heed the 'Warnings Placed Before Us'!
Those ungodly persons also spoke abusively of "glorious ones" (literally, "of glories"), evidently those who had certain glory conferred upon them by Jehovah God and Jesus Christ... 15 Certainly, those of Christ's anointed followers who serve faithfully as appointed Christian overseers have had glory, or honor, conferred upon them.

Anointed elders - w89 9/15 p. 22 par. 8 Be Obedient to Those Taking the Lead
Surely, we do not want to be like the "ungodly men" of Jude's day who 'disregarded lordship and spoke abusively of glorious ones,' anointed Christian elders with God-given glory, or honor, conferred upon them.

    Anointed elders - w91 4/15 p. 31 Beware of Apostates!
Unlike the archangel Michael, who would not even bring a judgment against the Devil in abusive terms, the ungodly men spoke abusively of "glorious ones," evidently those with certain glory conferred upon them by God and Christ as anointed elders.

    Elders - w97 9/1 pp. 15-16 pars. 13-14 Beware of False Teachers!
Jude writes that "these men, . . . indulging in dreams, are defiling the flesh . . . and speaking abusively of glorious ones." (2 Peter 2:10; Jude 8) In what sense, though, do they "look down on lordship" and speak "abusively of glorious ones"? 14 They do so in that they despise divinely constituted authority. Christian elders represent the glorious Jehovah God and his Son and, as a result, have certain glory conferred upon them. True, they make mistakes, as did Peter himself, but the Scriptures urge members of the congregation to be submissive to such glorious ones.

    Elders - w98 6/1 p. 17 par. 10 "Put Up a Hard Fight for the Faith"!
But if we dwell on their faults and undermine respect for them, might we be "speaking abusively of glorious ones"? In verse 10, Jude mentions those who "are speaking abusively of all the things they really do not know." Some will, at times, criticize a decision made by a body of elders or a judicial committee.

Elders - w08 11/15 p. 22 par. 9 Highlights From the Letters of James and of Peter
While "glorious ones," that is, Christian elders, have faults and may err at times, we must not speak abusively of them.

Well, they did say "evidently" in their explanation, which is the equivilent of crossing your fingers behind your back; or, written in stone...until the next change.
