Order of operations is important, so, I'll ask a question before i make assumptions and start "fixing things."

Obviously, the site heavily encourages the viewpoint of former J-dubs and others who have disagreements with the political posturing of the WBTS. I get that, and see your points. Are there actually any self-identified current JWs on this site? Not scarecrow accounts and trolls... actual active people? If not, wouldn't the site gain more respect by showing the intellectual honesty to openly advertise as a place intended to flame on JWs as opposed to something presented as a thing representing the group?

Are there actually any self-identified current JWs on this site?

I'd say there are LOTS of current JWs on this site.

Many of us are simply irregular, inactive, depressed, disgusted, disillusioned, and might I add............Desirous.

Where do you think all the (confidential) Letters to the Body of Elders are from? DFd JWs?

    Nada. Active Elders.

Do you realize we had the new Elders' Book (Shepherd the Flock) BEFORE most Elders received it at the KM School?

Where do you think that came from? Inactive JWs?

    Nada. Insider moles.

Once someone finds out that things cannot be fixed from within, they get disgusted and work from other angles. Of course, eventually most just toss in the towel and say SCREW IT.

I looked at the home page for those that are not members yet. While this site started out for active members back in the day, it evolved into something much more proper. We could say the light of truth got brighter. Anyway, a good little JW would check it out after all those warnings about the evil internet. The home page subjects include:
    Scandals & Coverups
    Child Abuse Issues
and while a non-member cannot look at the private section, it still shows the non-Member that there is a subject called Apostafests & Get-togethers.

Not everyone looks before they leap and some may not figure those titles out, but they should at least be cautious going in. It's not designed to trick them into thinking it's a benign site.

Give it a chance, and look around.

There is a developed demographic here imo. It cannot be overly generalized because Jehovah's witnesses did start a conroversial re-analysis of prophecy applied to modern times. Those JWs are now long gone, current Bethel led JWs DO NOT discuss modern global developments, live and real-time or at all, that have to do with the prophetic principles laid out by early Jehovah's witnesses, who were not also UN NGO witnesses on the side. (like today's JWs)

Meaning a new controversy has arisen that eclipses the former Jehovah's witnesses ministerial issues that stayed in scriptural subject matter. Now Bethel (1) apostasy and (2) lawlessness, and their (3) premature end delusion (imo 2Thess2:1-4 in modern times), has become the subject matter.

That is not an insignificant development for the global record of Bethel crimes to eclipse their own ministry.

So an honest and awake Jehovah's witnesses would see Matthew 24:15 active at UN NGO promoting Bethel, and they would flee. Some of them are here. You would have those in crisis, that is at a turning point in their faith to organization or to God and Christ. You would have beaten sheep, and those who have gotten a little cooler due to Bethel's increasing of lawlessness, unaddressed.

And you would have the former oppositional demographic who used to discuss theology, but as you can see theology is not the main point of discussion, actual Bethel criminality and anti-Christian behavior is now the main GLOBAL topic. In a way it is theology, the discussion of Bethel apostasy.

So in reality you have a truly unique development that Bethel fuels, while they hoodwink those deepest in the congregational smokescreen to conceal their own classic apostasy, that is present and modern in no other religion like this, because even if someone was not a JW, the world expected more from such a formerly high profile campaign to restore "true worship".

Thus " false worship" right at Bethel is what has been "restored" and that will have a psychological blowback in an eruption of criticism from the hypocrisy Bethel leavens into the ministry to undermine it from their own hand. You will find active JWs here who are perceiving the warning to flee such a group with a "form of Godly devotion" but whose even leaders, especially the leaders now "prove false to its power".

Thus a new complex strata has emerged as forms of Bethel lawlessness with say UN NGO, pedophiles, and inquisitional shunning, create their own factions of opposition, not on theology, but un undeniable actual Bethel criminal activity for profiteering purposes, at multi-billions, using the JW religious veneer racket and "charity" to ply the organized crime it really is.

Now if a Jehovah's witnesses did come in to speak former truth Bethel itself has abandoned, as evidenced by their rotten fruitage, they are soon blacked out by modern Bethel realities that eclipse the old school JW Kingdom message. Now the message is about a lawless Bethel kingdom and their "acts of loose conduct" so the whole truth can be "spoken of abusively". Now Bethel is plainly "set in opposition" as God uses their exposure to ask JWs a simple question:

Are you WITH "the lie" and Bethel based "operation of error", or are you going to face it and flee the organization of lawlessness?

And because some JWs have come to have faith in Bethel, organization and GB ABOVE God, Christ and the Bible, many JWs own cognitive dissonance drives them back to the den of robbers, because these are not all the same "goats" JWs are misled to think oppose scriptural truths, these are people screaming for justice about a Bethel apostasy and organized crime that itself opposes scriptural truth.

Until Bethel is judged and accounted, the tsunami will continue, imo, and only get worse as national powers ALSO come to realize Bethel is a "snare and a racket", and it is by Bethel policy and it is open to massive litigation, and that will aid Bethel's downfall on the front end. In the middle internals, and the back end, Bethel is already positioning their own destruction so well they are either too dumb to run a ministry, or they are in on it. Either way all the indications is the writing on the wall is for Bethel's downfall overall. Spiritually it is already crumbled, just whitewashed with the works of former Jehovah's witnesses who are all now dead, and it is modern JWs who are ripe for a fresh judgment. A living lie is Bethel's refuge.

That simply is what Bethel really is today, they are not preachers of truth, they do not support God's Kingdom, sheep, God, Christ and people in general, they support themselves and their own illusion that has made the WTS and internal Bethel CEOs wildly rich men. And that is what it is, the Bethel "rich man", who is actually naked, pitiable and poor, and the pattern now repeats on their own house.

Plain and simple, Bethel and its leadership is the global APOSTASY JWs are encouraged to look elsewhere for. The Web has opened up a totally new and complex world of opposition that will in time involve the national powers seeking restitution from the Bethel corporations. Meaning it will only get worse from here on out, it is best to just get well out of the Bethel system, because though Bethel will sell this to JWs as "the end of the world!" and "prophecy fulfilling brothers!", it will be the end of Bethel and apostate prophecy fulfilling in them, the world system will continue on, JWs will be pillaged and dumped by their own lawless leaders, as usual.

But as for JWN, if you look around you will find a global microcosm of interests, backgrounds, discussion, and even concerned active JWs wondering what is really going on up at Bethel, as a sampling of the larger global population sector not present here, but still affected by Bethel lawlessness and abortion of their own former teachings. Imo it took time to build this kind of community, and because of the core subject, it also has attracted an varied sampling of people. You will find about anything you may be wondering if they are present, even elders and Bethel involved people, RBC, etc, even if they do not come out and say it or post here, they are checking this forum out for information.

Any JW with half a brain and a TV or YouTube knows something is not right at Bethel. Its like the Devil has slipped in and runs the place. And he probably has, for real.

Do you mean active people who defend JWs on the site? I am active, give talks, go in service, yet would be considered an apostate if the elders knew what I really think.

Here is a factor to consider. JWs have been told for well over a decade to not only avoid the internet, but to abstain from participating in any kind of JW site unless it was a WT site.

Are you, looking at a .net site really under any kind of apprehension that this is an authorized WT site? All that JW.org business hasn't clued you in? This site is OLD and it has clearly things in it inappropriate to JWs following the rules.

    Scandals and coverups?

    Apostafests?

    Child Abuse Issues

    Private Discussion and Support(!)

    Adult and heated debate

    and worse. . .

    Bible Research and Study

What part of that is encouraged by the WT? They tell you they have more learned men than you to do the thinking for you, even. So, research? Not. Scandals? Not discussed (with approval). Private discussion of the religion or the Bible-discouraged. No independent thinking or spreading diseased ideas to the congregation! Can't admit that anything bad happens and God knows-debate is discouraged!

No worries. Just wanted to confirm before saying something that could be considered accusatory.

But, what is this "can not be fixed" rubbish? You realize the foundation of the religion is based upon questioning man-made teachings. The system isn't broken, the people have just been too lazy and sheepish to do their duty and speak up in a constructive, upbuilding way. Easier to throw a useless fit on the internet than do something productive and help the congregation grow.

Example, the society warns about the dangers of the internets... and this site evolves out of protest, proving that exact point that seemed so unreasonable.

It's like objecting to that little warning about kids drowning in buckets by drowning a kid in a bucket. By overreacting to their overreactions, you've completely justified their warning.

So, if you have a concern... why not skip the giant conspiracy theories and stick with taking rational steps about a reasonable complaint.
