An obviously good person who is not a Witness, knows what the Watchtower teaches, and has no interest in joining up. It just breaks that false dichotomy that a person is either a faithful follower of the organization, or a hopelessly evil pagan.

I left right when all the internet/device stuff started becoming part of their worship. I don't think I could have handled that amount of change.

What the org fears the most is information. The JW leaders, like the N Korea leaders, want to control information and keep the people ignorant and feed them propaganda.
Individual JWs fear getting householders in the ministry who have knowledge and intelligence and reasoning skills. When they get such, the situation doesn't go as it does during their scripted service meeting demos.
