An extremely sad thing to have a young child dedicate herself to Jewhore's Wittynesses. I think it's sad in general that many people getting baptized don't know what they're getting themselves into.

What a shame! The WT criticizes the Catholic church for the baptism of infants, but there is little difference between that practice and baptizing 7 and 8 year old children. An 8-year old child does not know what she is doing.

The WT is always ready to pull out examples of how Christians supposedly bahaved in the first century, but they seem to ignore the fact that there is no evidence of the baptism of children by first-century Christians. Even Jesus got baptized at 30.

But, of course, the WT understands that the earlier they can hook these members the better it is. If they wait a few years, when these young people start really using their critical faculties, it might be too late for the WT. But let's not also forget the (ir)responsability parents have in this regard.

    Too sad...

Do they realize what they are getting into? They somehow think people should be baptized at age 6, yet how will a 6 year old understand that this could be used as a legally binding contract at the whim of whatever hounder decides to play that card? Not only will their family lives be ruined. Not only will they have to pious-sneer every chance they get. Not only will there be harsh consequences for normal things such as dating, doing holidays and flag salutes, and just living. But, if they later decide they want to just live a normal life, there is always the danger of being caught. If they are lucky when they get caught, they will merely get disfellowshipped with their family turning away from them.

If they are not so lucky, they might be caught in a web. Many get jobs with other witlesses, and if they dump the religion or break the religion rules, they lose their jobs. Others have apartments where the landlord is a jokehovian witless. If they exit the religion, or become too irregular, they risk losing their apartment. Some have both. They don't have any backup plan, so if they lose their jobs because they break a religion rule or become too irregular in the religion, they have a miserable time trying to find another. (And usually end up on welfare, or worse, on the street.)

Or, what if they later decide that they don't want to be a jokehovian witless any more? They accept the risk of being disfellowshipped, and they sneak out. Some years later, probably when Saturn returns to Sagittarius (a favorable time for cults and legal matters), some scumbag hounder decides that their baptism in 2014 or 2015 constitutes a legally binding contract. They take it to court, and the judge sides with the religion despite obvious problems with the religion. After all, they agreed to do anything the religion asks them to, provided they do not break secular law in doing so. Doing door to door work does not break secular law. So, the judge allows the hounder to sue (or drug) the victim into compliance. They are court-ordered to return to the religion, and remain absolutely regular to the hounders' satisfaction. Refusal to comply now can result in getting sued, drugged, or both.

One bright side--small consolation. I don't think the upcoming Israel mission is inviting people from the Phillipines. That is just the United Tyranny of Stupidity and Canada, last I heard. It is a blatant attempt to connect Israel and America, and to provide links to high ranking rabbis to use black magick to damn the human race. So, they dodged that bullet (but still get the other 999,999). But, will they be so lucky next time?

This kid is too young to vote, get married, work and drive, but declare to be obedient til death to a high control religion,

sure, you just go right ahead sweetie.

I mean what's the likelihood you will:

    change your mind,

    make a mistake,

    get disfellowshipped,

be shunned by all that claim to love you,

become depressed and suicidal when you can't get reinstated,

have no education no family and no clue about life in the real world?

Naw, no chance of that happening, but if it does you just remember it's all your fault,

because your'e baptised now and that makes you accountable to Jehovah.

Child abuse , she will be disfellowshipped once she`s a teenager , simply for being a teenager ,and expected to make decisions that sometimes adults have trouble making.

    So wrong on many levels.
