Math 6: 28,29, --greater than Solomon, and Lillies, yes, but demons?

cant you just see it, two spirit beings, if there is such a thing fighting, wrestling about a corpse, like rugby, hockey, football teams? dropping the ball recovery, end run,?? to score?

Luke 11:31 is comparing Jesus' wisdom to Solomon's, though. Nothing about demons.

It is Luke 11:31. Some believe since there was a discussion about demons earlier in the chapter and Jesus was quoted as saying this that it was referring to another book where by Solomon could control demons and used them to help build the temple. I'm not saying I agree but that there was an older writing that people could of taken ideas from. I am finding a lot of the writings in the Old testament to be taken from other writing and other cultures, so this would not surprise me that they did the same with the new testament.

I didn't know nothing about that, but you're totally right. I made some research and I found it comes from the testament of Solomon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testament_of_Solomon)

We can read and downlad this apocryphal book in pdf here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1euYzqg8kkpVWdQNFJ2YkliN0U/view?usp=sharing

As no Canon for Christians was fixed until around 380 C.E ( not undisputed even today), and no Canon for Jewish Scriptures was fixed until after the first century, it matters not which books Jude or any other writer quoted from.

The WT/JWorg stance is that any words written by the canonical writers are inspired, but the books/writings they quote from are not.

The question, treated in Doug Mason's excellent paper on this, is :

Why do the WT/JW Org accept as Canonical the writings chosen by what they call the Apostate Church of around 380 C.E ?

    With this added question :

Is not their NW Translation an Apostate Bible ?

Do you have a link on this paper ? I'm really interested!

This verse as stated is from the Assuption of Moses most likely. However the words Michael uses in the story are from Zechariah 3. <<<Read it

It's a very wierd story and Jude is full of traditions and odd stories.
