I was walking into a local food store at noon on Saturday and I see someone wearing a tie coming into the store. It was a brother who I have seen before (in a nearly congregation) wearing a very nice shirt and tie. It had the JW.org logo embroidered on the pocket. I must say, it looked quite professional.
Are the embroidered shirts common in your area?

Have not seen one myself, but plenty of the other ways of pinning a symbol to a person or child. The biggest statement of blind obedience I've seen in my life.

Does anyone remember in the 80s when having the tetragrammaton (YHWH) displayed on the back of your car was the thing? Brothers who did pen striping on cars would custom make them.

Why is it that I look upon someone who would wear that as a self righteous corporate brown noser? Many of the people I work with would never be caught dead wearing a company logo after working hours because it's just that stupid!
