Oh, great! Now, on top of everything else, you're telling me that God hates me!

God hates everyone. It's not just you.

The insidious nature of comments like this:

"If you find that you are lacking in JOY or experiencing PROBLEMS in life, this is evidence that Jehovah's spirit is lacking or being blocked in your life"

... is that life is problems! Even the best of lives still has problems.

Yet another way to guilt JWs into doing more for the Org. Problems = not doing enough for WT = do more for WT = god will make the problems go away. NOT ! Since problems never go away the JW is caught in a cycle of "what have you done for me today?" activity to earn god's smile of approval.

A classic example of a Fool's Errand.

More likely, it is because joke-hova's butt holy spirit is interfering with your own soul, or because Satan's spirit is not active. Some problems are your own making, either because of disinformation (thanks to the washtowel, as well as the lamestream media misinforming people of upcoming conditions) or because you made bad decisions (such as wasting 2 1/2 ounces of silver's worth per hit of drugs instead of buying the silver, and then hyperinflation destroyed the dollar). Some is bad decisions from others in your behalf--a "father" that always sabotages everything you do from having desired effects is an example of that.

The flow of butt-holy spirit will only make it worse. And cut you off, possibly irreversibly, from help from Satan and the Demons. Is that what you want?

so i guess the Spirit of god is supposed to remove all ones trials. this stuff is the definition of contradiction.

They are really top-notch crazies at the wts. Maybe we could print up thousands of No Guilt stickers (you know, the word GUILT with the red circle and slash) and stick them on the cars at the halls. Or maybe they should say Guilt was for jews, not jws!

Way before I fell into the WT-world, I said that my mother should have been jewish as she was always so good at guilting me. (To be fair, her mother was no picnic.)

I wonder if that's why it was so easy to buy into the jw crapola. I had been conditioned.

JK...Nope.... But the human brain is powerful. It can actually cause some narcissistic people to be absolutely certain that they are "spirit annointed" or that they are special recipients of "spirit flow", etc..

If you are having problems or lacking joy, then the flow of Holy Spirit in your life is lacking!
