Ha! Dino, it always backfires when you point this stuff out, doesn't it? Damn!
Correction: punctuation
I know I should probably just keep it to myself but every once in awhile I get frisky and attempt to point out the difficulties I have in reading some of the posts. I know it irritates some people to bring up the subject of proper speech, spelling, formatting or sentence structure, etc. I try to behave and not bring it too much. But I do find that a lot of people do not take enough time to properly scan and read their own writing to make sure it is readable. I'm not a great speller nor a great typist so I have my share of typos. But I think it's important to be able to read the text as it was intended. Poor formatting and sentence structure can drastically effect the meaning of what is being read.
Today, I guess I am particularly frisky since this is the second thread I have brought this subject up. Not trying to flame anyone just trying to help people commmunicate.

And yes, E-man always cracks me up too. That bit on the "do you ignore?" thread was hilarious and precisely to my point.

You're a good sport Sean.
I was just in a playful mood today.
Take care and all the best to you!

Thanks for sharing your story, Martin.
As Simon's example shows, you're not the only one who has been treated with such disrespect by the elders.
It seems to me they treat ex-elders, ex-pioneers, ex-MS etc more severely than anyone else. Perhaps this is because they expected more from their ex-peers, or maybe it's to make you an example to the rest of the congregation.
I wish you well.

Riff and Simon...
Based on your experience, would you then say that the best way of responding to an invitation to a judicial committee is to attend and simply use theocratic warfare?
btw... welcome to the board, Riff. Glad to have you and look forward to your posts.

Ok...
... so...

... umm... I hate to nag (follow my own post with another bleepin' post), but, uh, fellas... I *really* wanna KNOW: What should I do if I get a call to meet with some elders? Huh? Huh? Why y'all leave me hangin' like that?!!! Can a bruvah get some love up in here?
Which *is* it? Should I stay or should I go?
Should I accept the invite to their nice little chit-chat or should I decline and get the news later?

Personally, I'm-a go and play widdum for a minute. It'll be fun.

That totally stinks!
I'm not df or da but the more time that passes, the more glad I am my sister shuns me. Before she started shunning me I used to have to watch what I said, what I did, hide who I was. But her shunning me actually freed me to be me.
So in a way, the dfing policy is actually good for us. We can move on and away from the borg.
And it will eventually be the borg's undoing IMO.
