I've seen several rumors and advance mention of the convention releases for 2002, but if there was a post that laid it out clearly, I must have overlooked it (not hard to do, given the speed with which threads get buried around here). Can someone give me the exact details? Are there 2 books or only one? And a brochure about full time service? What are the titles? Were any upcoming releases announced (like cassettes or videos or whatever)? Can you provide any details about the contents or planned usage of the new pubs?

What a weak, watered-down, mealy-mouthed little asswipe of a book!! I wanted to scream...'You call yourself a District Convention release? You make me sick!'
It seems to cover the whole spectrum of JW-ism. All areas, but none too deep. C'mon, I thought the message was supposed to get harder & harsher...more scathing as we got closer to the end.
I gather that the "Worship the Only True God" book is a replacement for the old "United in Worship" book, but what is the topic of "Draw Close to Jehovah"? Is it a rehash of an older publication or something entirely new?

At least in my day with the dubs you got a pretty hardbound book. All softback now.(they need to conserve)
No dub should get exited about finding some harsh message or new truth in a new realease.....it won't happen and never has. New light or material always comes out in the Watchtower first ,or orally through Letters, C/O'S, D/O'S....not new releases.
