Eric, you nailed it!
Cowboy, that's Free Bird - Lynard Skynard, and Desperado, Eagles (and a bunch of others)
(edited to add...)
Cowboy, you nailed it, too.

COMF,
#3. Just a guess: There's a Hole in Daddy's arm?
Eric
That ain't it, Eric. I'll post the whole lyric, but frankly, if "Yeah, they come to snuff..." doesn't give it away, then you probably haven't heard the song. It's the catch-phrase of the whole thing.
Hint: this band will never again sound the same, due to a recent death.
Ain't found a way to kill me yet
Eyes burn with stinging sweat
Seems every path leads me to nowhere
Wife and kids, household pet
Army green was no safe bet
The bullets scream to me from somewhere
Yeah, they come to snuff...(who?)
You know, he ain't gonna die
No, no no
You know he ain't gonna die
Englishman... I'm suprised you didn't get my other Monty Python song I'm So Worried
Try this one...No one got it, but it is a HOT song....
Hot In Here by Nelly, Nellyville aldum
was like, good gracious ass bodacious
Flirtatcious, tryin to show faces
Lookin for the right time to shoot my steam (you know)
Lookin for the right time to flash them G's
Then um I'm leavin, please believin
Me and the rest of my heathens
Check it, got it locked at the top of the four seasons
Penthouse, roof top, birds I feedin
No deceivin, nothin up my sleeve, no teasin
I need you to get up up on the dance floor
Give that man what he askin for
Cuz I feel like bustin loose and I feel like touchin you
And cant nobody stop the juice so baby tell me whats the use
Sincerely,
District Overbeer

HEY SCULLY,
I love that S. Crow song. She's in concert up here at the Gorge, but it's the same weekend as the NW Apostafest....what to do? Someone quoted her new song earlier in this thread, "fun in the sun".
I read these lyrics in my High School English class for an oral persentation on music lyrics that moved me:
I saw cotton and I saw black,
I saw mansions, and little shacks....
I heard screamin, and bullwhips crackin
How long? How long?
I saw cotton and I saw black,
I saw mansions, and little shacks....
I heard screamin, and bullwhips crackin
How long? How long?
Neil Young, Southern Man. The album, I believe, was After the Gold Rush.

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Desperado by the Eagles, album of the same name.
SPICE, #3...those windshield wipers slappin' time to
ME and Bobby McGee. Thanks to Janis Joplin's song by the great Kris Kristopherson!
