joeshmoe, I used to asked my mother how Rutherford could say 'millions now living will never die'... she said it was a metaphoric... as in they are spiritually strong so in a spiritual sense they will never die, they are always in Jehovah's memory.

Can you imagine if Jesus were here?
If you thought he ripped into the Pharisees, imagine these hypocritical JW's?? The GB -- aka white washed graves -- would have heart attacks on the spot!
tera,
that's not the party line. Did your mother know she was using apostate reasoning?
Grits,
Whoa! I just think a couple folks didn't quite get where happy man was coming from. I don't think happy was bothered. He's Swede after all. They're tough!

kanske samma ffnga drm?

Let's review my post to see whether or not I slagged HappyMan, shall we?
Wow, our first JWD field-service report. I'm impressed.
Nope, no slagging here!
You must be pretty brave to pull something like that here, HappyMan! Well done to you!
A compliment? Whoda thunk it?
But, remember that the GB controls Witnesses, and they've caused Witnesses to die and be abused through their doctrines!
Is this not true?
So, why don't you tell people at the doors that instead?
A valid question, eh? Notice that nowhere do I attack HappyMan personally. In fact, I admire him for his stance against the Tower, even though I do not always agree with him. I do realize that not everyone can instantly leave the BORG - oftentime they have to "sneak" out, so as not to rock the proverbial "boat".
Geesh, I don't attack Witnesses here just because they're Witnesses. If I ever do, please slap me rapidly. I WILL attack their religion with glee, however. The sad thing is, many people confuse this with personal attacks, perhaps because they have BECOME their religion. If you knew me in real life, you'd understand...I have a very easy-going, but also extremely anti-Tower, nature. In fact, I'm a Pacifist. I'm quite insulted that you didn't read my post thoroughly and understand that I was not slagging HappyMan at all, but rather just questioning the motivations of his RELIGION!

Interesting that 2,000 years ago, a group amongst the Jews, known as the Sadducees, believed in much the same thing, didn't they? Sadducees didn't believe in the resurrection, but believed that the dead remained in God's memory. So now we have the WTS adopting Sadducee beliefs and using Pharisee rules and methods. Interesting...............
Cheers, Ozzie

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh... <picking self up from floor after having spontanious laughing fit @ozziepost's post>...
See, they ARE following bible principle's aren't they.. Now all they gotta do is drop the "We follow Jesus" act and they will be 100% in accordance with their own bible interpretation
