  Comforter, since YOU SAY you hate the kind of unfair accusations heaped on Jesus

  (damned if you do, damned if you don't) then you shouldn't have any trouble seeing

  how phoney the Watchtower's reasoning on the last days is.

  If there's war in the world, they say "Well, that means Armageddon is near!"

  If nations get together to sign a peace treaty, they say "Well, that's Peace and security

  and MEANS THAT ARMAGEDDON is near!" Taken all together, the prophecies

  don't mean anything because they fit any circumstance.

  You say you hate this sort of argument - I doubt you're telling us the truth because

  if you really did you'd see thru this dumb reasoning.

  As for being secretive is concerned, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus hid their

  true opinions and contrary views because of oppression by corrupt men.So did Hushai

  in David's day. We're not that different.

  Without the spirit of God, one cannot continue preaching about Jesus and God's kingdom (Matthew 24:14). One surely will not have God's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against Jehovah's servants) from door to door.

  And exactly how many people do you know who GO door to door preaching a negative message (against Jehovahs servants)? JWs have the market on THAT particular delivery method. People confident in their beliefs and respectful of others dont generally feel the need to peddle their religion door to door like salesmen.

  So, Im not sure exactly to whom your words are directed. You must be delusional if you feel ANYONE, apostate or no, even has an inclination or NEED to go from door to door to PREACH against JWs. Most intelligent people can dismiss them from their doorstep without having to have a counterpart anti-JW group go around telling them WHY they should ignore them.

  Got (bad) news for you: The ability to peddle religion from door to door is NOT a sign of its truth nor is it a sign that such a group has the spirit of god.

  hmmm I have been wondering about the Dateline cards I went door to door with right before the airing and what kind of response some of the householders had. Perhaps I should do some return visits

  Meaningful dialog with a hardcore JW such as yourself is when there is only a one-way flow of information or when all talk of the society is through those rose colored blinders. Anytime there is tough questioning of JW doctrine, you, just like all the countless others in the WT from the top down, in a huff retreat to the comfortable us vs. them mentality and the character assasination of a person's heart condition or morality. Or what I've heard JW's describe as being the argumentative stance that of being not receptive to "life saving" information.

  I suggest you continue running around, knocking on doors, offering, no selling your brand of life saving information as your real God, the governing body of geezers in Brooklyn dictate if that makes you happy. Last I heard, you can't "count time" on internet BB's and chat rooms.
