Well, like Moe, I'm almost a vegetarian too (meat upsets my stomach in large quantities, so I'd rather have some fish or something instead, I feel better afterwards in more ways than one). I suppose we have a little bit of blood every time we eat meat anyway, but I would never drink a cup of the stuff if that's what you're saying. The thought of blood dripping onto my chin makes my toes curl! And not in a good way!

I've had blood transfusions. I'd eat it too. I'm not into ancient taboos from ancient, savage notions of God, and I don't believe the "soul is in the blood."

I don't see the big deal about this one! Like's been said, blood sausage isn't exactly at every corner store around here either, but I'd be more than happy to try it. I'd eat grasshoppers, chocolate-covered or otherwise. I eat raw fish when I have the ducats for such a feast. I eat liver (animal's poison filter) when it's served to me, & love it. I eat bacon (pig butt), and use honey (bee vomit). If it tastes good & feeds your bod, I just don't see the point of tripping out on the origin! MrMoe's comments on cruelty to animals are well taken; I think it's a good idea to buy eggs from "free-range" hens, and "dolphin-free" tuna. But I've yet to meet the meal that could save itself from my gut just by grossing me out
