Welcome, it's useful to know what the atmosphere is like from inside. It helps for those of us who still have family that are in.

Thanks for all the welcomes and well wishes.

I have a few more theories regarding WT, ill voice these at some point.

The way i feel 2034 will be addressed will be in a question from readers article, which will go along the lines off. " what about all of these predictions regarding 2034 being the end of the world? True, the days of Noah were 120 years, and 120 years from 1914 takes us to 2034. But we can not be dogmatic in looking to dates, as we should always be alert to Jesus presence"...or something along those lines.

I also feel the WTS will not come crashing down in a sea of pedo law suits. The WTS has Billions of dollars in assets, and these suits will only dent the mother ship.

The thing that will potentially cause it all to come crashing down, is apathy. the longer time goes on, and the more the regular dubs get away with, the more people will care less and less. As one poster put it, Vote with your wallet.

Welcome CoH (interesting choice of username).

You may be onto something regarding the way the WTS will handle Bible chronology for the next decades to keep their game going. I hope you find yourself comfortable in this forum. Looking forward to your contributions.

    hello Co H

I'm still well and truly inn, but don't want to give any information out, i'm sure you guys know the reasons.

i can guess---youre still well and truly in--to please others--and out of fear of losing them.  so the cult has still got you where it wants you--a bum on a seat.  well--it would be good if you could use your wasted time there to help a few others out.

    Welcome CoH,

    Why that particular username?

A bum on a seat means absolutely nothing when i do not vote with my wallet. if there were 50 million bums on seats, and no one gave any money, it would collapse.

you can only pay for all those COs, bethalites etc for so long without money coming in.

    Just my opinion.

Thought the user name sounded a bit edgy. I like it.

    Welcome Campaign of Hate!

I love all those that are 'in' and report back to the forum... we all like to be kept abreast of 'developments'.

It was interesting to hear about the role jw.borg is playing, it seems to have revitalised some and made others more skeptical.  I think many are wondering 'what happened?' the religion they joined all those years ago, compared to the 'high octane' version bursting through the internets.

I look forward to your next posts.

    welcome campaign of hate

    you said

Its a really weird feeling i have, i am neither angry, annoyed or upset, my feelings are very neutral, almost like i was / am never part of this religion in the first place. It's a feeling of just being an observer from the inside. Very strange.

i don't know if anyone else has felt this way?

absolutely. in fact an individual can learn to develop this sort of distancing mechanism through cognitive behavioural therapy.  But it is important to allow any negative emotions their place too and once this is done (the theory of mindfulness cognitive behavioural therapy says) you can become a participant in the experience of what you are feeling leading to not unhealthily bottling up powerful rage or fear. don't know if this makes sense?

CAMPAIGN of HATE- Nice to have you here ! I'm sorry that you still have to be inside the organization working undercover but I understand if you have close family members still in. The WT Society is just going to keep extending the alleged " time of the end " so they can financially survive as a corporation. The WT leaders have no ethics about whether or not it's true- but " end times " prophecies make religions lots of money by keeping people's butts sitting in Kingdom hall seats. So ignorance is bliss to most JW's. Really sad. Peace out, mr. Flipper

What is phenomenally impressive is that they can set a date for the end of the world, and than string people along for over a hundred years!!!! Those are some FINE manipulation skills, right there!

I too doubt they will say anything outright about specific dates in the next few decades, but they will give little hints suggesting they are in the know, which will drive the crowds wild.

I want to ask again, didn't receive an answer...with all this official website promoting they're doing, aren't they concerned people will see sites like this one on the same Google page? Because it's not like they can say to a person on the street, 'be careful about those other sites, those are evil schemes...'
