They don't mark well enough, and they ought to get some speed training sorted out;they have no acceleration .

As a soccer/football newbie, I have a question.
On a corner kick at the German end, I saw an American player standing at each end of the goal, holding on to the posts. I admit I haven't seen much soccer, but I've never seen that. What is the purpose? It seems that you're only helping the German goaltender.

Hi Hmmm;you can't be off-side from a corner; so they can go anywhere they like-ready for anything!
(i'm pretty crap at football rules though...if i'm wrong there's lots of experts here who will put you right, and explain it better!)
