I didn't question Jehovah's instrument for feeding the flock. I did what I was asked. It's called brainwashing.

    G'day District Overbeer,

ozz, I'm sure you already posted, but how did the graduation thing go?

Please see the thread again where I've posted some news. Thanks for asking.

Five all the time(tho sometimes little old ladies would still give me 50 cents, even after they got rid of that price)...and mostly 7...I hardly ever placed anything...I was a crappy salesman, and I knocked really really softly in hopes no one would answer, oh yeah and I always volunteered to knock on houses that looked empty, AND tried to go during the week when no was home. And if I did get someone home, I would hand it over to my dad after my introduction, and I would hardly ever go back. Mostly I just pretended I was giving away lots of stuff on my time sheets at the end of the month.

#5 and #8. I was a pioneer and it definitely rubbed me the wrong way.

I was pioneering at the time too. I thought it was a crock when I first heard it. Like a good little dub, I ignored my instinct and went along. I tried asking for a donation for the world wide work after I placed the literature and I could see the look on the householders face as if to say, "Oh I see the catch now". I actually had some people offer to give the literature back when asked for a donation. I guess they felt shitty about being manipulated. I ended up just giving them to any who would accept.

I stopped going in field service soon after this "new light". I never minded bending a rule or two in business, but for God's work......I just couldn't stomache it.
