I believe the system is going to crash any day now.

Yes, you said that, but how long thereafter is the King Jesus and his army going to come to earth to slaughter everyone who is not a Jehovah's Witness ? With the kind of tribulation you're expecting, there may not be many people left on earth anyway...

aOh, and Toddy, you don't specify what "current system" means

That's a very good point.. The WT can get new light at any time on the meaning of "Current System".. Who knows, in 10 years there may be new light that says something like:

Upon re-examining the scriptures, Jehovah has blessed us with futher enlightenment on the way we are to interpret the "current system" and "new system". While some brothers were over-zealous in their thoughts that a new system was being said in a physical sense, we have concluded that Jehovah really meant a 'new system' in a spiritual sense. According to bible prophesy at(Insert whichever bible scripture you want to use, and bend scripture to your interpretation here) we can now see that the new system aligns with the definition of "generation", in that any 'generation' able to understand and interpret the current events of x,y and z will be transformed into a 'spiritual system' seperating themseves from this 'current materialistic system'. Isn't it wonderful how Jehovah has provided us with this new light just in time to understand the end of the current materialistic system of things. Soon we will all enjoy a spiritual relationship with Jehovah God himself, through the Faithful and Discreet Slave.

NOTE: Former, Current, Present and Future brothers who have passed away/will pass away may or may not be already in this spiritual paradise with Jehovah. We have no way of knowing as our great communicator has not revealed this information to us as of yet, so we do not wish to speculate and form any conclusions; however, wouldn't it be appropriate for Jehovah to have his loving children with him, and we do know Jehovah has made us a promise of everlasting life. So, without any speculation what-so-ever, it is possible that our loved ones are in some sort of spirit world here on earth, and are with us, we just cannot see them for they have taken the form of spirit-creatures. Again, not speculating, but we can see from bible scripture (again, insert favorite scripture here, and bend appropriatly to state what you want to 'prove') that there are two classes of spirits. Those with a heavenly hope (Who can come to earth to visit, but live in heaven), and those with an earthly hope (Those who stay and roam the earth and watch out for their loved ones until such time as they join the spirit realm themselves). Again, we realize that we are imperfect humans, and that we do not speculate in such matters, for we need to wait until Jehovah reveals these truths to us, but wouldn't that arrangement be wonderful?

P.S. Oh, do not think too hard about the fact that some people are made 'spiritual on earth via the spiritual (new) system of things' while others are 'spirit creatures' roaming the earth. Thinking can be dangerous to your spiritual relationship with Jehovah and his earthly organization. We realize that there is an inconsistency with this, but we can only explain what Jehovah has revealed to us via the Bible. It is all Jehovah's fault that you have these questions, not ours... And whatever you do, stay away from APOSTATES for they will be haughty and try to point out these incongrueties and draw you away from your loving god (oops, we mean F&DS), who has provided the proper food at the proper time. If you didn't receive it, it's because you didn't need it.. Don't go looking for it elsewhere, for that is a sin!

The point i was trying to get to was there have been j.w's who have lived and died and no doubt they were led to believe that the "Great Tribulation"was going to happen in there lifetime and of course it didn't.

Now You Know, say you do live to be 97, will there ever be a point where you turn around and say it just ain't going to happen!

That, my dear, is a sacred secret, for now at least. But I suspect that about a third of humanity will be liquidated when the Anglo-American beast goes berserk. / You Know

I've been studying the book of Revelation over the past few months. It seems pretty clear to me that anyone who loved God/Jesus will have been killed before Armageddon ever comes - whether it's being killed by the Beast/AntiChrist/False Prophet trio or by starvation because they are unable to purchase food because they don't have the "mark of the beast". At any rate - the only ones left when the final war of Armageddon is called are those that refused to repent & cursed God (see Rev 16).

So.......I'm not afraid of Armageddon, but I sure do hope I'm not around to see the rise of the AntiChrist, being that I'm such a wimp-ass and all

My point has always been, that ridiculers of Jehovah's judgments have always been steamrolled eventually. So, apostates and ridiculers have been ridiculing our message as long as we have been giving it. At some point, and now apparently soon, you will have to come to terms with the foolish reasoning that you have allowed to delude you into imaging that just because Jehovah's day hasn't come yet that it will not come. This ain't 1925, nor is it 1975, and WWIII ain't gonna be no Desert Storm cakewalk for the Anglo-American king. / You Know
