Nokia, contract unlimited night and weekend minutes, 400 a month daytime minutes, 1000 a month to my wife and son. It doesn't vibrate, ring is set to Reveille, I doubt it works abroad.
FYI I bought it through the company rep that handles our whole office. About a year ago he did a great job of sorting out a billing problem for me. I think he has some extra clout because he can say he's dealing with about twenty accounts not just me.
2 -3 text messages a day, UK to Australia is only 12p for a text message.
No vibrations!
Great Escape (Just for the World Cup, sob sob.) / The Sting / Dambusters
Oh yes, works any where in Europe, supposedly that is. UNLESS you are on the Isle of Capri, in which case you get a text message which reads: Welcome to Wind(?) for your own security your mobile phone has been disabled.
During meetings a single sister in the congregation joked at a picnic that she kept her cellphone on her lap in vibrate-mode at meetings because she liked the tingling sensation she got when a call came in (LOL).
Heck if I know if it vibrates ....I'm bad about reading owner's manuals.
Contract as you go (got a special deal through the company I work for).
Never send text messages since they cost $.10 each and I manage to make all my calls within my allotted minutes anyway. Besides I'm lazy and hate fooling with text messages.
I'm still filled with childish delight at how cool it is to make calls while driving (pulling over to the curb, of course :-))
I hate them with a passion and the idiots that imagine some farty little apology for a real tune is 'clever'. Especially when it goes off every 5 minutes. Seems everyone in our office insists on having it set like that.
Me? I have a nokie 3310, pay-as-you-go but haven't topped it up to make a call in ages. Angharad calls now and again and that's it.
I also have a Nokie 7110 that I got when I learned WAP (ha ... what a joke) but it is just gathering dust now.
