This is one of those very rare moments when I'm actually glad to be in Darkest Africa!

Im .06 from a route.
There is a war going on here between the Goshute Nation and the State of Utah. The Goshutes have been solicited to store waste on their land. Since they are a sovereign nation we can't tell them what to do but only protest the route through the state that gets the material there.
MY OPINION: We here did not make the waste, did not benefit from its use, so why should we have to deal with it?
To those who made it: YOU made , YOU keep it.

Ballistic, I agree that they will use the address as part of a mailing list.
Therefore, I entered my old Kingdom Hall Address.

I live only 5 miles from the nearest route and about 30 away from a dumping site.
Doesn't surprise me one bit, given southeast Louisiana's reputation for chemicla waste disposal. Not to mention all the rail routes that run through Louisiana, plus the intra-coastal waterway. I guess there's plenty of potential disaters waiting to hapen around here.

I'm in Canada, so the map doesn't work for me....
but I thought I'd have a little fun using the WTS HQ address:
25 Columbia Hts, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Distance from the nearest nuclear waste route: 10.3 miles
Distance from Indian Point, the nearest waste source: 39.2 miles<sigh> dang.... can't win 'em all....
