  Gentlemen,

  Your posts were out of order. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. You bring shame upon our country, and I feel angry with both of you.

  There are certain rules that people abide by.

  1. You never insult / criticise someone's kids unless you want their parents to hate you.

  2. You don't foist your religious beliefs upon others, because, in so doing, you appear to be taking the moral highground, and this is extremely irritating

  3. You never, ever, insult a person's country of origin. You can criticise what that country does, but you must not criticise what that country IS. If you insist on doing that very thing, then you are finding fault with everything that person holds dear, you are attempting to rock a persons whole identity. Just as it is OK for ME to criticise MY country / parents / kids, it is NOT OK for YOU to do that.

  Don't criticize things HERE ON THE BOARD that we have no contol over. There are other, non-JW related boards for that.

  Very well stated, Englishman. I did not read those inflammatory threads, because I saw no point in it. You are right, I can criticize my country, my city, or my son, but I don't want outsiders to do the same thing. I know the strengths and weaknesses of my home land. I don't want to read someone only attacking and not considering our strenghs, whether it is country, city, or family.

  And the sad part is, they're probably the vocal minority. I wonder how many others are sitting behind their monitor bashing the USA?

  LOL.....No, seriously though, so much good work went on last week, work that had hundreds of us from all around the world communicating with each other by the minute for several days without let-up.

  Then these silly nonsense posts appear from people who did not participate, nonsense posts that are just attention-seeking verbal crap IMO.

  I can't even begin to describe just how angry I feel at this.
