So if God can call any amount of people to heaven but only choose a few, then that means all six million Jehovah's witnesses might have the heavenly calling. Wow, can't wait to see the watchtower's 'new light' on the subject.
If the watchtower needs adjustment to their view about the 144,000, I wonder how many adjustments are needed in their other doctrines??
Hi Cy,
I don't want to make a long post explaining the details, but basically the "temple organization" the witnesses were like the Jews who were set aside to fulfill most of that number. They are the DRAGNET org. that goes into the "sea" of Christendom and brings in many members, but then another separation is done between the heavenly class and those not making it are thrown back.
So witnessess too sleep or whatever who don't make the heavenly class have time to repent later and still get into the surviving Armageddon earthly class. The Heavenly Class is a special class that are tested now before the millennium and they get "life" before the millennium.
But basically, because the organization was corrupted with weeds, many of the witnesses are not paying attention and so become the "grapes of wrath", those grapes on the vine that are rejected at harvest time when the Messiah arrives to inspect his house. The witnesses are in the house of the apostate "evil slave" now. Christ has come to separate out the sheep within this organization from the goats, and he leads them out to another flock. He has "other sheep" not of this fold. This is the time of separating the wheat from the weeds, the Watchtower-based witnesses from the Bible-based witnesses.
The anointed ones you might be seeing, are the ones who are more focussed on the Bible and reading it for themselves and are not that influenced by the Watchtower which is in darkness now.
But BASICALLY, yes, probably most of the witnesses should have become of the anointed which is one reason suggesting the 144K is a symbolic number just as all of them being men and virgins and the number is probably closer to 1,144,000, though still a limited number.
The sudden surge in anointed ones, though suggests the rejection of those witnesses in line for the truth have been rejected now and being replaced just before the second "great tribulation" will begin, likely beginning with the destruction of Babylon the Great which leads into Armageddon, apparently as soon as aa year and 3 months later!!
So newly anointed ones is good news for those WAITING for Armageddon and the Meillennium and who already know they will be kings and priests. We're just waiting for any last-minute borderliners who might be saved at the last minute before it's too late.
