Since issues of violence against women and children and porn are closely related at the very least in peoples' minds, why on earth would silentlambs affiliate with this guy? I don't want to believe it, but if it's true, Mr. Bowen needs to make a statement. Just hope it isn't Clinton - ish!

1) They AREN'T, in fact, related at all
2) The Silentlambs site is, very clearly, quite opposed to child abuse in no uncertain terms. How could someone, viewing it's contents, ever even wonder about its motives?
Indeed, how could the average web user (who just clicks on a link from Yahoo or somesuch) even find OUT about the 'other sites' he runs? Easy: they can't. The only way is if people like those posting on this thread try and make a scandal out of someone hosting porn sites and a child abuse prevention site (which are two completely unrelated things).
I have to ask what kind of idiocy is going on in this thread? No one is going to know that he hosts porn sites unless they have the technical knowledge and curiosity to find out, and of those who do, most are quite clearly aware of the distinction between porn and child molestation.
You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

It seems odd that someone who's only concern is for Silentlambs and Mr. Bowen would make this comment. Also, have you contacted Mr. Bowen and revealed your concern regarding his business to him? If not, perhaps you should. The manner in which you are making your concern known seriously makes one question your intent.

if BERND's concern was with the welfare of Silentlambs, he would contact Silentlambs. He would not come on a public forum and post links to porn sites.......The problem is that Bernd(?) is not slick enough so his real concern, and therefore his intent, is obvious.

I had this rumor checked by a reliable source in Germany. The message was as follows:
Hello Bill,
apparently, there are people who want to prevent your website from appearing in a German version. The accusations against Hans-Georg Kolpak are absurd to say the least. I met him personally at a meeting and have had infrequent eMail contacts with him since.
I can assure you that Hans-Georg is neither a pedophile nor a "porno dealer" as some other eMail put it.
Some time ago, Hans-Georg used a provider for his business website who automatically added pop-up windows as soon as the website was opened. These included windows pointing to pornographic websites. Hans-Georg changed the provider a long time ago, but this "story" has been used against him since then.

Xander, from what you write I can see that you don't understand what the situation is in Germany. (How could you.)
To make this point clear: "Bernd" is a troll who pesters any JW related board.
Kolpak too also joins any the JW board only that he uses them to promote his WebSites. He hardly contributes to a thread without linking to any of his pages, and they are all linked.
He promised not to link to any of his sites on silentlambs but he did in as the moderator of the board (that nobody asked for). He put his name prominently on the Homepage (he has erased his name after having been criticized on Infolink). Bill Bowen was not mentioned once (which is not really necessary for silentlambs, but he mentioned himself several times).
The rest of silentlambs is still a mirror of the English Site and that is why you find http://marketwizz.com. This matter should be settled BEFORE Kolpak is officially Webmaster of silentlambs.de.

I know that Stephan E. Wolf does not see any problem with Kolpak hosting silentlambs.de
I don't understand that point of view but I respect your decision. I also mention that some other serious Infolink-participant (like Manfred Gebhard, Webmaster at http://www.manfred-gebhard.de and Delef Zwarg , Webmaster of http://www.gimpelfang.de share my view.
I also think that owning domains like big-breast.de etc has nothing to to with pop-ups of a provider.
But, Bill, you are the one to decide in this matter.
I just wanted to save silentlambs from harm.
