how does the average publisher/householder find out about pedophiles among JW?
Go to www.google.com (or Yahoo, or altavista, or....)
Type in "pedophiles" and "jehovahs witnesses".
Or, "child molestation" and "jehovahs witnesses".
Either will yield you a number of useful sites.
My point was that such a simple search will not yield who OWNS the sites that you find, or what OTHER kinds of material they host. Hence, the relevance of those pieces of information is '0'.
Since Manfred and Detlef both offered WebSpace for a German version of Silentlambs my posting was not to "prevent your website from appearing in a German version". But this is likely to be "Bernds" intention.
I can see both sides of the argument. This is the way I view it. If it is indeed true that this man, Hans business activities includes hosting porn sites is his business perhaps his income. In general the adult porn industry are one of the major players fighting child pornography. I know this sounds strange but its a fact they hate it with a passion because it gives them a bad name. Adult porn sites are just that adult porn sites they are not child pornography.
We could look at the situation another way lets say Bills cause was fighting lung cancer and Kraft Foods Industry said they would host his site for him. Bill is appreciative that someone helps him in his cause and he lets them host his site in another country to get the message out. Then its told to Bill you know Kraft is owned by Philip Morris they actively promote lung cancer because they sell Tabacco. Should Bill be say nope you have ties to Philip Morris?
Let me ask another question HOW MANY HAVE Stepped up to the plate and joined Bills fight in Germany and offered to host the site to get the word out? How many? It seems that Hans has taken on an extraordinary cause to INFORM silentlambs everywhere that there is help. How many of us can say within reason you have never visited a porn site? In visiting that porn site you support it, you keep it going.
Hans stepped up to the plate and offered to help the silentlamb cause. Please stop bashing Bill for trying to spread the word. Please stop bashing Hans IF INDEED his business may include porn sites. We all live in a world where one is so very quick to throw the first stone prior to looking at their own lifestyle.
I was a silentlamb but with Bill's help I have become a roaring lamb. Perhaps with Hans running a site in Germany that many more will be able to tell their story and be a silent lamb no longer.

Even if the host did have some links to porn in other business activities (which is not linked to on the silentlambs site at all) then what has this to do with child abuse?

I don't think so. In fact, with the amount of child abuse that seems to be associated with 'religious' groups it seems better to suggest that:
lack of 'normal' adult interest (possibly 'porn') = child abuse.

I neglected to post to this thread earlier hoping it and the absurd notions would fall to the wayside.
1. You have no clue who the actual host of a domain does other business with. As a matter of fact, the same people that host this board for Simon, may also host porn domains for other people involved in serving out porn to the net...Is this also inappropriate? Would that fact alone take away from all the good that is done here? Of course not!
2. Equating pronography with sexual abuse it spurious to say the least. It only makes one issue less clear and important, and easier for some to foist thier high and mighty morality on a subject that stretches was beyond morality. I think sexual abuse and pedophelia are universal wrongs, not moral issues.
3. Even if Hans owns porn sites, that in itself is not illegal or immoral. I will bet even money that if you ask an equal number of people who like porn and an equal number that don't (even on moral grounds), the answer in regards to pedophelia will be the same....IT IS WRONG!
4. Trying to discredit Bill will serve no purpose other than to reveal the Watchtower apollogists, thier lackeys, and make the case for finding out who and where the poedophiles in JWland are even stronger.
Some here should spend less time digging for "dirt" that is not there, worrying about the reputation of silentlambs AND more time helping Bill put an end to what has become for many, a total and utter living nightmare.

Some time ago, Hans-Georg used a provider for his business website who automatically added pop-up windows as soon as the website was opened. These included windows pointing to pornographic websites. Hans-Georg changed the provider a long time ago, but this "story" has been used against him since then. silentlambs
Hans Georg Kolpak is a big liar! All popups are added by himsimself, this can be seen by study the sourcecode from his porn sites. Example:

this code tries to install a so called SEX-Dialer. A Sex-dialer is used for dialin on hardcore pornsites and charges users with high costs for access. Please note: KayOL is Kolpaks own business name. So we can say:
