Yep......it was announced at the hall. I got told by someone who still goes. I had not attended for 2yrs but I thought they might have informed me! I know others MS/Elders that don't go illness etc. but still have their 'titles'.
Can't say I am bothered but I thought they would say something! I might have considered going back...

I think after 2 yrs .....most in the cong would have said 'Who?'......so it seems pointless to me.....why bother?

what would have happened if you had just shown up with your brief case and literature in hand to carry on in your capacity not knowing that a decision had been made?
