Awww, You know how I feel about you spicey!

I cant imagine someone not liking you.?. Anyway, you should be like me and not give a sh*t what people think. Seriously though, there are a few of you who I have gotten to know and would feel awful if I found out that you hated me for some reason. I have just accepted the fact that occasionally I may post things that may strike a nerve with some people. If that is the case, and I dont think its worth it, I wont comment. On the other hand, if it is a subject that I feel strongly about, I will post away and let it hit the fan. I try to always keep in mind that its not the person I dont like, its their point of view.

I am a newbie here Spicy. So I don't hate anyone here. Yet! But if in the future I come to hate you just don't pay any attention to me. If you ignore me I promise I will behave myself.

Spice honey - I love you. You have an incredibly sweet heart and a powerful way with words when you express yourself. (as in the poem in another section) You are a very sensitive person, and I certainly can relate to the hesitations in wondering if others like you or not. Don't give anyone that power sweety. You are a treasure. I'm glad you started this thread so that those negative thoughts/feelings could be proven wrong - and next time they start playing in your heart or head - remember that feelings aren't always facts. You ARE a treasure.

Rosalyn - Welcome to the board! A lot of people here wonder if the length of the threads they begin have a reflection on them - but it doesn't. If you look at the number of people who actually 'look' at your thread - you'll see that it is higher than the actual replies to every thread. There are some threads here I haven't been able to reply to because they break my heart and when I go to type, it all goes blank. How does one type tears? (one of the subjects is Samantha Runnion) I also compete with computer time in my home, and there are many many reasons, but basically it is human nature to reply to the thread that strikes home to you, or that interests you at that moment and that you have the heart and facts to reply to. Rosalyn hon, feel free to email me.

Out of more than six billion people on this planet, there is only one "you." And you are the only person who has to live with yourself, ultimately. Whatever you say and do, make sure you can look at yourself in the mirror next day without regret and all will be fine.

Sure it hurts when people respond badly. No man is an island, the poem says, and we all want to be liked. Xena hit the nail on the head when she said sometimes a post can be misread (can't see facial expressions of the poster at the time, for example) and the original post-er can take the post-ee's response wrong and....

If it keeps up, maybe you should ask the person via e-mail what the problem is. Sometimes when we feel frustrated in our lives and can't release it, we snap at the first person who comes along. They may've been upset at your post for any number of reasons, not at you personally.
