Sad to say, Comforter isn't really making this up. I have heard for years how thankful we can be that "we are the cleanest people on earth,the smartest people on earth, the most disease free people on earth, the most educated people on earth, the happiest people on earth, the best dressed people on earth....."

Sad to say, nothing you people have said in this place overthrows the fact that jws, as a people, are the cleanest group on earth. If we do what the wt tell us from bible, we will be clean. HS is also full of it. He needs to study psychology too. Adaptation is a valid concept that explains why people get used to living in filth. Have you ever talked to people with bad breath? They just talk and breathe in yo face like nothing wrong. They do not know that they breath laying people low. The wt reminds the brothers to brush teeth and tongue. How thankful we are for these loving provisions.
We jw not perfect. we make mistakes and we learn from mistakes. Nobody perfect. The elders correct us, if we smell or if we dirty. Worldly people have bragged about how clean jw leave assembly halls. Some you people just wish to overlook that fact.

I came in to open the kingdom hall for field service meeting on Saturday. The last time the hall had been used was Thursday evening's Ministry School and Service Meeting. Unlocking the KH door, I turned to avail myself of the facilities in the men's room. When I opened that door, I was almost physically knocked backward by the incredibly pungent foul odor. I discovered that someone had taken a dump Thursday evening and had not bothered to flush. By Saturday it was ripe.
This only has to happen once to dispel any notions of JW cleanliness. Sad to say, it happened often enough in our hall that the brothers had to have a "special needs" talk about it.
I don't recall ever encountering a problem like this when I was growing up.
I was raised as a Southern Baptist.

Wow, this is the only thing comforter can argue without being shown to be a total moron, JW's smell good. Before that he smelled but after becoming a JW he learned how to bath. Then again, since they are quite good at brain washing people they may as well wash the rest of their bodies as well.

The Society has never denied that not all witnesses have the same standards of cleanliness. we are all learning. But you see that the elders of your congregation took care of things when it was brought to their attention.
A friend of mine once said that he saw a brother use the toilet without washing his hands afterwards. The brother said something about this act and the negligent brother has been washing his hands ever since after pottying. If we were perfect, there would be no need for discipline. The Society knows what we need. We get food on how to be clean at the proper time.
