I'm sorry to say so, however my experience dealing with my own melanoma and knowing people who have opted for "alternative" treatments for this disease leave me little choice but to state what I've seen. People who go for alternate treatments do very poorly, very poorly indeed. Poorly on the order of 100%.

Has any one suggested Gleevec for this girl? It's supposed to work for lukemia.

    To You Know,

You're an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noone wants this girl to die, and the mother is wrong for hiding her daughter from the father since no matter what treatment she gets- it doesn't look good. Why would any mother in their right mind take the last bit of time the father might have with his daughter away from him??? You can't get that back!!!! What a shame!!!!!

    You know -

    Absolutely not!!!

What was said at trial by all world renoun medical specialists is that the only treatment MIA could have that works 40 percent of the time was chemo with blood transfusions. If she did another type of treatment her chances of surivival are 0 percent.

After the treatment the doctors now give MIA a 10 percent chance.

She is more than welcome to try other treatments. However, the problem with this case is the mother has "stolen" the daughter away from the father.

What people want is the daughter to be FULLY INFORMED and make decisions based on proper medical information. If MIA had chosen to not take the treatment because she knew it was only 40 percent I would have supported her. But I know just like you that MIA never had a chance to be fully informed. She was manipulated by the HLC people and never gave a thought to what was best for her.

You are nothing but a lying little man who also supports child rapists. If MIA had actually supported taking the blood transfusions, you would have been on this thread screaming that the WTS should disassociate her.

Look yourself in the mirror and ask why are you supporting the needless death of innocent little kids and why are YOU supporting CONVICTED rapists like Fitzwater and Belinz who are still JWs in good standing?

    1. I am sorry for Mia and her father. I hope he gets to see her again alive, as he has given up everything he has known - and about a quarter of a million dollars for her health.

    2. Where is Mia and her mother going to get funds to stay in hiding, provide for themselves, and pay for the alternative service?

    3. If Mia dies, since the mother stole her away, I am assuming that the mother is responsible for debts and hard choices and monies from the time Mia was stolen?

    4. Is the WTBTS picking up the tab for all the mother's legal defense? Are they picking up the tab for medical expenses for the alternative treatment?

Sorry for the questions, but I know the father has posted here about awesome money problems, terrible health problems, and the love for his family that he has. I would think that all is gone now, and I hope he finds peace.

But who knows? Perhaps Jehovah God will perform a miracle for Mia and save her life. Stranger things have happened. Whatever happens, I wish the family peace - a terrible trauma they've all been through.

You can be sure that the bills will be sent to the father (one "alternative" care facility in California charges $8,000.00 per week so he will be recognized for his headship in that aspect of this matter).

Lets hope that the mother informs the father of the whereabouts of the body and allows him to attend the funeral. He will have little say in the arrangements for that funeral, even if he is allowed to attend. He will surely be shunned if he does attend; He will be blamed by many of his former "friends" for her death because he was instrumental in getting blood transplants administered to her. Blood kills, You Know.

Hoping that father and daughter will be reunited before its too late.

Angered that Mom thinks Dad should not have contact with his daughter whom he loves enough to keep alive.
