Hi Sam: Repentance is the JW mantra ... and the one avenue that JWs have to toss someone out into Satan's world to be sifted as wheat ... so, if a JW Pedophile exhibits repentance and/or plays the two-witness rule ... then by all means he can stay while the Elders are tossing out the helpless teen.
Yes, the JWs care more about the JW Pedophile. And the biggest concern are apostates, because they are considered already willfully on Satan's side with no hope, so this is not an issue for Jehovah's Spirit ... but a JW Pedophile has hope in their eyes.
..What if you wanted to create a system that would 'oversee' certain criminal types to allow them to do the societally beneficial things they're capable of (holding down a job, contributing to the GDP and perhaps providing food and/or shelter for offspring and/or spouses) WHILE keeping them OFF the tax roles, either as welfare recipients or expensive 'residents' of the criminal justice system.
* ...you also wanted, without the expense of locking them up, to somehow keep them 'to themselves', AWAY from society in general, so they couldn't do harm to the 'average guy'.
Would you do much different than what the WTS has been doing for the last many years?
