No matter what happens, the hardcore Dub Assimilants will remain, even if Brooklyn is turned into a crater. They're worse than a terrorist organization, purely because they're legal but are still allowed to kill people. Delightful, innit? You can't fight the system, but you can chip away at it, and that's what us Apostates are doing now. Recently, large chinks have begun showing in what formerly looked like the impenetrable armour of the Tower. Their days are numbered, that's for sure.

And you know what, if any of the die-hards in the BORG read this post, they will feel vindicated and righteous because of my words. That is the ultimate irony of this situation.

The JWs (then the Bible Students) lost 3/4 of their membership when 1925 did not pan out. Then when 1975 was a dud, the JWs hit the minus numbers for a few years in the late 70's and early 80's, yet here they are 6 million strong so to speak. Actually, it is to their advantage that the oldtimers die off literally or drop away. No inconvenient living memories of what was said in the past. The WTS buries its mistakes literally and figuratively.
