I left the JW's in the autumn of 1991. The following 12 months were the most traumatic I've ever gone through as I was in a 'self - destruct' phase. Some of the best albums ever made came out about this time, Nevermind - Nirvana, Violator - Depeche Mode, Achtung baby - U2, Black album-Metallica, The Stone Roses LP.
Because of how I felt at the time 'Under the Bridge' by the Chilli Peppers means a lot to me.

Sort of summed up how i felt when I packed my bags and left home and everything else behind, that I was now on my own. I'd escaped the JW's but I didn't know where I was going! It was definitely the worst day of my life but thankfully things quickly improved. 10 years later I can look back on it as the best decision I ever made.
