Chelbie, it was fun but not very relaxing with hundreds of screaming kids running around.Maybe the next vacation will be without the kids.....

Due to my overwhelming spirituality, I would have to say my favorite vacation spot is wherever the District Assembly is being held this year!

    <-------barfing.

Aren't you glad we don't live like that anymore?

Yours...my friends and I stayed a week..Akumal is a beautiful place. Small town between Cancun and Tulum and about two hours from Chichenitza . In Mayan its called the place of the turtles...and rightly so. You could snorkel and scuba with them in Yal Kul Lagoon. No school but a good librarynamed Hekab Be run by some folks from the US. We took down books and clothes and toys and money...the locals appreciate that a whole lot. Its also good for bartering..eheh The condo was only $500 for a week there and you could easily sleep six or 8 peeps there. had yummy barracuda ceviche' and iguana soup there too..made for my by one of the locals. Oh, and the local Mayan girls are all smiles and hotter than habaneros. ijole'!!!!

    Sincerely,

Took my husband almost 30 yrs. to convince me to go on a cruise. Now I can hardly imagine going on any other type of vacation. We are hooked on Disney Cruise Line.
