They have alot of worries

The biggest one is time, You can cry wolf only so long.

This organization was never designed to last hundreds of years.

Its the young people they are losing,

The kids today are way to smart to buy into the same old BULL SHIT we did. At the last CA I went to, there was 2 kids to take the oath.

With no new recuits, this thing will last another 20-30 years at the most.

Kids listening to their parents and their grandparents telling them that they were never going to get out of school before the world will end.--------------will get it.

They fear loss of control. The Society have always been control freaks. So they will do anything, say anything and kill (disfellowship) anyone to maintain that control. Nothing else matters.

Someone once said the two biggest fears of most people are 1) losing something you think you have, and 2) not getting something you think you need. Big Tex hit it with the idea of " control ". They fear losing it and not continuing to wield it. And perhaps the thing they most worry about undoing their control is the unveiling of how " new light " policies actually come about through good ol' public pressure, i.e. child molestation policies. Because try as they may, things HAVE CHANGED, they can't GO BACK, and more and more people will know why.

Hey Loves! Long time, no talk. Hope everything's good down in the Sunshine State.

I can see from all of these replies that the GB and the rest of the JW cronies @ Crooklyn lots to be worried about. I like the point that the organIzation wasn't designed to last hundreds of years and that the young people today have living proof of those who believed the WT's lies about the end of this system. They have seen the direct results of letting the WT rules someone's life and what happens when one doesn't plan for the future.

But is baptism of young adults down dramatically?
