Just thought i'd ad, if you were to tell your cousin about the stories you've read here or anywhere else that paints the JW's in a bad light. She will tell you that it is untrue because it came from Aposates.
I just wanted you to know that.

I would only advise you to ask lots of questions and then question everything you're told. Research and double check their answers. A great book to ask your Mom to get (if she doesn't have it already) is Steven Hassan's Combatting Cult Mind Control. It lists the ways to identify a cult. Look at the list, then look at the JWs and ask yourself if any of it applies to them.
